Live pets or drone pets?
Live! I've yet to find a drone that was genuinely warm, fuzzy, loyal, adorable and cuddle-able!
So what's your Resolution(s) for this year?

Jev North wrote: What's the hardest lesson you've had to learn last year?
Too painful for me to put into words here. There is a reason I am no longer CEO. The learning of the lesson almost broke me.
Since I didn't answer that candidly, I will respond to three priors one.
Elmund Egivand wrote: How many people sharing the dining hall is too many people for you? I agree six people is the most for a good dinner party. Over six, the conversation will get split and divided.
Matias Kurovassi wrote: If you could mix two genres of film to make a musical, what would you choose and what would it be about? Rom/Com and Tragedy. A doomed love affair between a True Amarr Holder's Heir and the family's Sebiestor head slave in the period before the Minmatar Rebellion. Starting off superficially light, it ends with a knife in his chest when he seeks to elope with her but she chooses to escape.
Quincyy wrote: What is your earliest memory? An odd one. I remember laying on a couch in a sunbeam being gazed on by the family cat as if I were potential prey. it's no wonder I prefer dogs to this day.
And for my question:
Have you ever found true love? |

Aria Jenneth wrote: What is the most disturbing thing (story, fact, etc.) you ever found out was completely true?
That Frenjo Borkstar somehow transmuted himself into a Jovian freakshow.
Do you have a childhood memory that makes you smile every time you think of it?

Saya Ishikari wrote: Who has been your biggest influence on the course of your pod based career?
Father Azdan Amith. His writings inspired me to try to aspire to more than just mining in my capsuleer career and his influence can be seen in a lot of what i've tried to do.
Where is your favorite place for a vacation - space or planetside?

Loai Qerl wrote: How do you feel about the ports on your back being seen by other people?
I dislike it intensely. I usually wear garments that conceal them and when station or planetside sometimes a scarf or a shawl.
Where do you think the ports should go, if not on the back?

For those who didn't... What's the biggest culture shock you've ever had?
Having my my long hair cut and seeing all the locks fall off. I had them donated, but I still didn't recognize the face in the mirror or the feel of running my hands through my long hair.

Because it brings pleasure to the mind and joy to the soul.
I confess I sing in the shower.
If you were to sing in the shower, or do, what song do you sing? |

You didn't ask a question, no wonder the thread stalled!
So here's a question for the thread in light of ongoing events, How do you maintain hygene when concerned about infectious diseases? |

Yes,the pilot's arm suffered a software malfunction. it was both horrifying and oddly funny at the same time.

The roasting I received from my dear cousin, and then maid of honor, the first time I married Michaelus at the rehearsal dinner. She has a .... way with words! I am not sure I can reproduce them here without further embarassment!
My question is "If you could go back in time and change history, what would you change? Why?"

Jev North wrote:This thread will go on for as long as people will have both basic curiosity and a need to tell stories.
What color is the rain in Dam-Torsad?
It depends on the season, the time of day, the density of the rain and so many other factors, although due to the gleaming golden spires, the rain - water being reflective, can sometimes be a beautiful golden hue when there is a mix of sun and clouds, positively divine!
I for one have thoroughly enjoyed this thread with its little glimpses into the background, culture, stories, quirks, and personalities of my fellow denizens of new Eden.
Now for my question, timely in my case, where would you go for your Honeymoon in New Eden? |

Hetu Hegirin wrote:Jev North wrote:What's currently making your life better? Taking a short holiday. Nothing to manage, no delivery dates hanging overhead, and I'm trying to set worries aside for a time. They will certainly still be there when I return. There are a surplus of resorts on Fegomenko VII, most of which are specialty lodges based on wider totemic associations, drawing no shortage of the spiritually inclined. While the commercial angle is a little tacky, I will vouch for the restorative qualities. The sky is not overbright at midday, and it is swelteringly hot, so you've no choice but to sweat out your cares. Even at night, the heat rarely abates, but when the winds rise, the cooling rivulets on one's dampened skin... exhilarating. They make excellent fruit-derived cocktails at my current waystop, some with heavy cream on the bottom. Delicious. In that spirit, where would you like to get away, when next you're able?
I'd actually like to try something totally different, for me, and visit the Republic or State if it could be safe for me to do so. I've never visited planetside in either place.
Is there a person who you wish was in the date/do chores Auction but is not?

Elmund Egivand wrote:First question: I do not have a lover, but my death and return as a capsuleer did send my clan's skadi scrambling to work on the genealogy charts which did, well, restart debate about whether a resurrected capsuleer is to be considered the same person or his/her own offspring. That debate about capsuleers being the same person vs offspring had been going on since the clan produced its first capsuleer, quite a few years before my time. The result of the debate is still inconclusive, since a week later the clan went, "Get back to work," and shelved the topic.
Until that time another family produces a capsuleer.
Second question: Age 7, made to study really difficult math. Took me about a week to work the problems out, got the answer onto paper and brought it to my Pa. He took out a chart, revealing to me that for every engineering math problem, there is a reference chart associated with it. I threw a tantrum. Pa just laughed.
He kept teasing me about it for a year.
Have you ever wanted to punch your own clone?
Yes, instead I went on Penitent status to try to work it out more constructively.
How do you solve a problem like Nauplius? (permanently?)
