I find it amusing that after such an important event, something that was on a headlines in various PC gaming press, AND was using by CCP themselves as a great marketing opportunity of advertising the "first fully operational Keepstar ever destroyed", all we got was some manually generated killmail of naked citadel.
Both we - players, and devs, shared a lot of hype regarding this event, so don't you think it deserves some ACCURATE testimony, which includes actual fittings with respective pricing added to the killmail, so it fully represents the scale of assets that were put on line.
It also deserves recognition compared to the first Keepstar kill, which was executed in it's anchoring timer, with no resistance whatsoever, yet it shares the same km as the last one.
The info about the accurate numbers of assets destroyed should be made public knowledge, ESPECIALLY in huge events like that. |

Well, the only thing to be destroyed would be the fittings and rigs. Which are not really that costly compared to the Keepstar structure itself. In terms of items inside the Keepstar they went into asset safety and will be deposited somewhere else not destroyed.
Though like me, most CO2 members moved all our none 'Keepstar Fight Assets' out of the system. Into Venal or Low-sec, or had them shipped to Jita for sale. Only things anyone really had left in there was a pair of Doctrine ships for the fight as per Gigx's orders.
So the losses are not much more than the 300bill Killmail anyway, maybe 310>330bill for the explosion. The battle report would be more interesting, as that must be over a trill for each all timers.

Ofc I did!
Altough I would be very interested in an actual worth of "fully operational Keepstar" even if I didn't manage to whore.
Battles like this make EVE history, so providing an accurate testimony of these events should be number 1 on CCP list. They already provided things like permanent Steve wreck or B-R5RB site that future generations of players can witness and learn something about history of EVE universe...
Yet. they can't provide an accurate killmail of one, if not THE most significant battle of this year. That's bullshit. |

it's not bullshit. it's how eve is written and configurated: https://blog.skyride.org/why-large-killmails-dont-generate/
killmail you see on zkill is "fake" and manually generated. that's all people can do atm and will happen again and again, until new software

It wasn't a battle, it was just everyone showing up to get a shiny killmail...
