It should have gone in COAD or something but that's not a huge deal - the fact is that he felt he needed to communicate with his fellow corp mates and didn't feel the corp's own forums was a safe place to do that. That's pretty sad that the corp has people that feel that way, but that doesn't make the OP 100% wrong in bringing it here. Secondly, one of the fundamental truths I face as the CEO of an upstart/smaller corp (especially a "PvP" one) is that if I were to go away from game for an extended period of time then the corp would die. It doesn't matter how many directors I have in place or people I trust to "run" things - without a visible leadership presence at the top and clear corp goal, things would crumble quickly. I am tight with a corp who had their CEO go away from game for a while (come back soon, Thay!) and before he left he did the right thing and passed CEO duties off to his most trusted corp member. If the CEO of your (now former) corp was gone that long, it's too bad that he didn't have the integrity to do that. -- Wanna be a low-sec scumbag?

On the subject of not being active (which I would STILL like to make clear, is NOT what I implied in my corpmail that triggered this whole fiasco off), my own observations (and a couple of others) showed that the CEO would regularly decline participation in ops when they occurred and spent a lot of time in the afk channel on Vent (this is true, I am not just saying this to stir), which obviously makes the time with the corp a little uninteresting, hence my finding better things to do than play Eve. That has all changed now I'm happy to say and to everyone's relief, I consider this matter "exercised" and closed. Although if there's an award for the longest thread ever, then please keep posting Yarrrrr.

Agreed, shame turby is becoming a Gatecamping corp only it used to be a great roaming gank, small gangs Pvp corp back in its day.
