Not on this character, but i will create an alt work my way into a corps, then go to there enemy and divulge all their sensitive information. Hopefully resulting in the loss of the war. Thank you, and that is all.

Sneak into that Otherworld Empire alliance, I hear they sit on all the good stuff - and the best part of all is that rumor tells they are complete idiots so shouldn't be too hard to be under cover.
Best of luck!

neither cunning, nor clever.
The idea isn't even original... all major alliances have spies inside there enemies corps already. So instead of trying to act smart go learn how to play the game =]

Well, then you are a d*ck, sorry. (unless of course you are aiming at MOFA ) At the least, it's meta-gaming assinineness.

Ignoring the 2006 bit - Why is it metagaming?
Playing two different characters in two different roles in the same world at the same time is not meta-gaming.
It is a fine line - but as long as the characters are completely separated. It gets more like meta gaming if you use another char to sell the information than the one that stole it.
Scouting for your main is metagaming. Logging off in combat is metagaming. Playing a different character who does different things, and perhaps behaves differently, is not.
EDIT: I just got the 2006 bit,very witty indeed :) - I'm a bit slow this morning. -------------------------------- So.... |

ffs - there is two ways you could have said this:
1. as above 2. Hi XXXX, Eve is a vast and wonderful game. In chosing this career you are joining a host of others who have chosen that exact same career. In fact, most major alliances have many spies in other alliances, some paid, some just doing it for fun. There is nothing wrong with chosing this route, and I hope you enjoy playing this role, I just wished to inform you of the fact that this is not a new idea and you may find that most of the people you wish to sell information to already have reliable sources and may not wish to hire you.
Your way derides the OP, and attempts to make him feel less than you. The other way informs and allows him to make a more informed decision.
Being nice to people is not difficult tbh. -------------------------------- So.... |

What if you find yourself liking the people you are spying on? You spend a few months on their TS and share jokes and talk about....you know, stuff together. You get to know them and they get to know you. Then, you betray their trust and stab them in the back, rationalising it to yourself as being "part of the game" well its YOU that ends up as the loser in this scenario. No amount of justification excuses you. You will always be the one in the wrong even if you try to convince yourself otherwise, deep down you will know that what you did was not right.
So go ahead, be a ****. I cannot stop you.
