Hello my fellow Eve players.
Please allow me a moment to introduce myself and to explain what it is IGÇÖm looking for in a corporation. It is my hope that I can at last find my GÇ£space-familyGÇ¥ in this game that I have come to enjoy so much.
Firstly, I would like everyone to understand that itGÇÖs taken me quite some time to finally sit down and try to put these words out there due to the fact that I can be quite shy when GÇ£breaking the iceGÇ¥ with people I havenGÇÖt met. To that end, I would like to list a few things about me (both related to the game itself as well as who I am IRL). Honestly I feel that placing this information in a listed format is probably the quickest and easiest way to do this.
About me in game:
Name: Vakross GÇô Caldari
Interest: Exploration, PVE, PVP, PI, (really wanna get involved with CitadelsGǪ more on that below).
Skill Points: Approx 7.3mil
Fav ship: - Phophecy/Damination (cannot fly GÇô personal goal to build up to it and have the isk to afford itGǪseveral times over. )
Current ship: - Punisher (really love this ship, working on mastery for it which also applies to Phophecy/Damination.
Current activities: Depending on mood/time of day and other factors, I usually either run some missions alone or run exploration sites alone. (Do very much enjoy both). Currently working on setting up my PI for passive income.
Ambition or Main Goal striving for in game: - To meet like-minded people that I GÇ£connectGÇ¥ with, where I can assist in building, maintaining, and protecting a Citadel. (I find citadels to be very cool, and IGÇÖd really like to find a corp that builds them where I can help and be a part of a family that build their own house/s. (Then when needed jump in above said Phophecy/Damination and assist with protection). (So IGÇÖm not afraid of PvP at allGǪjust need to learn how to do it better).
About me outside of game:
IGÇÖve played off and on for the last 3 years.
IGÇÖm a noob but not a newb, (In some aspects). (One reason I love this game so much is the challenge and the draw to always learn something new.
I am shy when meeting new people GÇô (not so much so when I get comfortable). To speak a little more on this topic: due to some of my past experiences with people IGÇÖve come to honestly not have a great deal of trust. I donGÇÖt say this to be rude or hateful, IGÇÖm actually a very nice and respectful person, (Golden-Rule type person (outside of the game mind you)) , but my very first thoughts of a person are usually ones that tell me to be on my guard, even when there is no rhyme or reason to feel such a way. There are many situations where I decided simply not to talk to someone in the first place. ItGÇÖs actually kinda hard to explain. However once I get to know people I open up and try to be very friendly
I do have an alt character that I do PI and Mining on, but thatGÇÖs all I do with him. (Mostly AFK mine in HS for ISK that I pass to Vakross - main). (If I find a good corp, IGÇÖll provide APIs on both if requested). My alt had about 10mil SP at one time, but IGÇÖve since stripped him of all knowledge except Mining and PI and passed that to Vakross as well.
Here is a big one about me I would like to mention, considering this game and a large portion of its player base. IGÇÖve never been a part of any military, (but IGÇÖm very, very grateful for all those that have, and I have incredible amounts of respect for you all). (Just wanted to state this so that others know more about me in order to assist with me finding the right in-game home). (I not military minded/natured myself, thus fleets and organizational units and such IGÇÖd have to learn). In Eve IGÇÖve really only ever been solo.
IGÇÖm from southeastern USAGǪ and yes I do have a southern draw accent lol.
IGÇÖve played about every other MMO out there. (Been a gamer my whole life).
I was GM for a top 100 raiding guild in WoW for quite some time. (IGÇÖve finally had to put WoW behind me though, I just donGÇÖt find the game challenging for me or fun anymore). Hence why IGÇÖm here on Eve.
IGÇÖm a huge Star Trek TNG fan lolGǪ.no relevance I guess, just trying to say a little more about me, and my space fan nerdgasms. HA!
Currently, IGÇÖm in the corporation GÇ£Signal CartelGÇ¥ and I really enjoy the nice people there. However I find that IGÇÖm looking for something a little smaller with goals that directly tie to Citadels. The very nature of SC and exploration makes that not possible.
Okay, so I guess that is enough of a wall of text for now. I do hope IGÇÖve been able to put in enough information that someone out there can tell if I might be a good fit, and perhaps we can start up a good conversation. IGÇÖm looking for my GÇ£familyGÇ¥ corp. IGÇÖve played enough Eve to know that the social aspect of the game is truly what keeps this game at its best, and I want to find somewhere that I can truly be a part of something larger than myself in the universe. As IGÇÖve already stated, IGÇÖd really like to get involved with building and protecting Citadels. Yet with that said, I like to do anything I can where I know IGÇÖm helping a greater cause. I donGÇÖt want to just always be stuck mining rocks to sell to strangers, I want to know that this item or that item will help GÇ£so-and-soGÇ¥ build this or do that.
