Yeah, pretty much right on the money. I honestly wouldn't be too surprised at FIO trying to cover up something embarrassing. I hate the idea of federal intelligence being involved in something like this, but I also wouldn't put it past the extremists that run it nowadays.
That being said, while those first two options have the potential, if either is true, to be disruptive to the conference by creating unnecessary tensions, the third is a good deal more sinister and holds much darker implications. Any investigations should try to rule that out first. |

You don't need to explain your feelings towards Soter to me; I know he has a long history of rubbing certain people the wrong way on these forums *laughs*
Soter is not Moira, even if we do trust him to lead or organization. Believe me, him and I frequently differ in opinion on many topics.
Capsuleer politicking aside, he's still a good guy once you get to know him personally.
As for the handshake, i would like that. |

Hetu Hegirin wrote:Purely anecdotal, but perhaps someone could clarify. Approximately 10 hours ago, I made a brief sortie out of the FCORD logistics citadel toward the SoCT Keepstar. Using the camera drone for visual inspection of the Gallente Outpost structure at the RP4 mining platform, I noticed that the Gnosis class battlecruiser that was moored there was no longer present. (Image published by Arataka Research Consortium YC119.03.29) Again, perhaps I am mistaken.
I don't know if this means anything at all, but I did a pass of the facility about 2 hours prior to Hetu's and the Gnosis was still there. I didn't capture any images because it wasn't relevant at the time, unfortunately. |

Gotta love how the presence of a station, meant to aid with the inquest, owned by a federal organization, in federal space, is ominous.
May I suggest something? A short phrase which, I can only hope, will become a rallying cry against stupidity and ignorance. One that will unite capsuleers of all creeds in the pursuit of reason and truth?
'Shut up, Kim'
Feel free to use that liberally, everyone. |

I hate to interrupt, but some important info has come about regarding the RP4 outbreak.
Turns out that the station administrator was the one who silenced the distress call and told the navy it was a hoax in an effort to try an keep the infection contained.
Station Log
Edit: Details of the original call
Credit for this goes to ARC personnel who are at the inquest station now and passing on details. |

Interesting to note that, according to the logs, the station received an anonymous call telling them about the infection.
If someone wanted it to spread, they certainly wouldn't have given the staff warning so they could quarantine themselves.
This raises a lot more questions than it answers. |
