Hi Jamus, I enjoyed your short promo. I've left a brief message in the comments on YT.
Just as an aside, I found the barge movements a bit jerky; probably you did too. I've had problems with this myself in my own video work; it's a pain. I wonder whether changing the mouse sensitivity in the settings would help? I haven't tried that yet, but will do so when I get a moment. If you get there before me, do let me know.
To repeat what I said on YT, most people don't realise just how much work goes into conceiving and making even a short piece of promo work, let alone designing and coding an app! You've done both, and I think you've earned yourself a congratulatory slap on the back.
Of course, it's never really over, is it? Always a bit more tinkering here and there. Love it!

I found myself more interested in the promo than I did the quality of it. So I think that means it's working. |

What I do to help get smooth camera movement is use the tactical or orbit camera and the various options to anchor the camera on yourself or a target or free move in space, and then use it to track something else.
For example, to get a smooth rotational shot (whatever the technical term is) like what is shown in the video, get another ship or drone to orbit yours, then track it with the orbital or maybe tactical camera. It would probably take quite a few tries to get it to orbit at the right plane to get the shots you want while keeping the other ship out of view but it ensures smooth camera movement. Also setting the camera intertia all the way to one side and lowering your mouse sensitivity can help with manual camera control. A shot like that is going to be a pain no matter what though.
