It's been awhile... constructive criticism please. Note this is a low-skilled and not rich pilot.

I could do it, but I'm not sure if my cap will hold out long enough. With everything but the NOS and Armor Rep running, the cap lasts about 3 minutes. With the NOS running, the cap lasts forever. I didn't try it with the armor rep on. Problem is the NOS is mostly to drain frigs that get too close, so in combat with another cruiser I (hopefully) won't have them getting that close.

I'd drop a gun and add another nos, and change the recharger for another damp.
If you have more skills, you can do with 2 t2 damps and a web, and nothing will get close to you.

I'd drop the scrambler for a third damp. Its not a solo ship.

Only has 4 high slots and 3 turret slots. I'm working one out for solo pvp now, if it works alright i'll post back here.

Unless you are taking on things smaller than cruisers your not going to be able to dampen enough, you have to remember damps stack.
The celestis is great for group work though. You'll want as many sensor damps, 1600mm plate to increase your survivability.

I dont fit a tank, put cap power relays in ya lows 3 sensor dampners a 24km warp disruptor and a mwd in ya mids. Whatever fits in ya highs, 150mm II's or something. Fly in a gang and stay out of lock range, simple.

I used that when I flew as EW support:
Highs - whatever fits.
Meds - 3x best dampers you can fit, 1x MWD/AB, 1x Disruptor.
1x MAR, 1x 1600 Plate, 1x EANM ---

Plates = win for solo too. I flew something similar with an 800mm plate and DC through a 4-ship gatecamp, got shot at, and escaped without even taking hull damage.
Drones can count for a large fraction of DPS on this ship as its highslots are rubbish.

Nos on a great Damp boat like the Celestis is a bad idea. You Want to stay out of range. Mobility is your defense with this ship. If you let yourself get pinned down, you're dead. ------------------- My opinions (ie, all of my posting here) are not my corporations. Nor should it be taken as such. |

Moreover a plate is way to go since it has more 'raw damage tanking', its like usually you get focused upon when called as primary, means resists without overall hp amount wont help as much as hp amount even with lower resists. And on celestis you cant get your resists higher then even 50. ---
