You dont play the game very much do you?
Warping with the solarsystem view resets the view. The camera zoom resets to the default zoom every time you jump through a stargate or undock from a station. Interdictor warp disrupt probes do not interrupt warps that have already been started The range of ECM bursts is not effected by the Frequency Modulation skill Gang modules are not affecting remote repair modules. Drones/Fighters do not always use their MWDs when returning to their home ship The Mining Foreman Mindlink mining bonus is not working Mining Laser Upgrades and Ice Harvester Upgrades give penalty while offline Health bars on delegated fighters do not update properly Attacking a Large Collidable Object will cause a warning about attacking a peaceful citizen to show Drones are not jammable through the use of ECM

Edited by: Alski on 21/05/2007 07:21:41 Drones, fighters and the fact that i'm uttery fearfull about useing my map when combat is imminent gets my vote.
Amarr is one enourmous bug in itself... sorrey Amarrians.
Lagggg if you don't close your overview when scooping drones / fighters, esp. on a carrier.
Lots of UI bugs, though tbh i don't even notice most of them now.
Half the T2 ammo has penaltys so bad your better off useing T1 in 95% of all situations.
There a ton more but thats a nice random selection.
EDIT: oh wait, i just Love this one, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when this happens : "There is no warning when changing the location of your clone about if there is a medical facility in the station you select."

You should run the tutorial. At one point it wants you to click the "Undock" button. That one leads you straight to all them bugs.

Join a large gang, convert it to a fleet, then resize the overview to fit it all on, expand some of the squads/wings and expand your drone bay. Resizeing it again will 50% of the time result in your drone box on the overview merging behind the overview resulting in you unable to use drones. (unable to expand it again etc) Only way ive found to fix it is totally wipe all your settings (or replace with sisi ones).

From the known issues page:
Quote: Alliance corporations can not see or retrieve copies made at starbase mobile laboratories owned by another corp. in the same alliance.
This is a source of about 200 'stuck' petitions per month from Zzz alliance alone, and potentially many more than that. With invention there is a massive demand for high-run BPCs, leading to long queues for public copy slots. For many people this is the only way to beat the queues, and it's a lot more expensive and time-consuming even without the petitions. ------ Spreadsheets: Top speed calculation - Halo Implant tanking |

x.X Of course there are bugs in EVE, much like there are bugs in every other game. They're unavoidable, and as someone who's got my hands dirty in coding myself, they're a royal pain in the jacksie to find and squish.
Oh, and I've seen a few visual bugs, namely ships warping in sideways and a map marker staying in place after leaving the map. Meh.

But surly thees "bugs" are just miner glitches in coding, and wont harm or render your game unplayabel, it still works, great,
its like a Freckel on someone you love, its not a big issue for you, or for your love, it hardly matters.
but overall, the game workes great, and i have realy seen mutch lag,
it lags a bit in jita, but thinking of all the people activly moving items, buying stuff, this is to be expected.
what i mean with a bug, is something that render the game unplayabel, to have fun in.
and that i cant find.

But a bug by definition is a mistake in the program's code caused by human error, regardless of its severity.
Oh well. I've never come across anything game-killing since I started.

Originally by: General StarScream But surly thees "bugs" are just miner glitches in coding, and wont harm or render your game unplayabel, it still works, great,
A 'glitch in coding' can still be a bug. A 'bug' in programming terms is any amount of code that causes the software to behave in an unintended way.
Notes: 'Unintended' doesn't always mean 'unwanted by the end user'. 'Unintended' can mean 'not as the design requires' or 'not as the programmer intended'. 'any of amount of code' should include entire modules and extend to the design itself.
<rant>As an experienced professional developer I find your suggestion that bugs '..wont harm or render your game unplayabel, it still works, great' to be offensive. Bugs are the result of careless or bad programming. Allowing them to reach the end-user is the result of careless or bad quality assurance.
As an end-user you shouldn't stand for that kind of thing. The software industry (of which I'm a member) has got away with half-arsed, second rate work for far too long. Recent developments to make coding even easier have not helped. It's way past the time we got our act together.</rant> -- (Battle hardened industrialist)
