just noticed that cyno field arrays on sisi have been seeded on the npc market (in empire any way )
firstly could u plz seed them onto the 0.0 markets to i dont have to move them threw the lag fest that is sisi to test them
also as ive not set up a pos and have the inclination to wait 28 days to get sov level 2 and fuel it threw that. would anyone that does have the time and patient to do this on sisi plz report how they work are they player controled or can u activate them threw the corp menu.
also would be nice if ccp could change the wait on sov to a day for each level rather than 14 just for testing
if they are player controlled then frankly there a waste of time but if u can generate the cyno threw the corp menu or some other remote operation then i cant wait for these to hit traq

You turn them on by onlining them and they stay active until you offline them. If you're in jump range (or Jump Portal range in a Titan) of an active Array owned by your alliance, you get an option to jump/bridge to them. Does that cover it?

so someone has to be at the location and have ability to online/offline stuff... isn't just using a ship to make a cyno going to be both easier and cheaper?

Does this module use fuel when its active? or does it only increase the default fuel rate the starbase would need to run anyway?
If it would 'feed' off the starbase that would be very usefull.

It acts the same as any other current starbase structure - it doesn't consume fuel itself, but the fitting requirements mean that the host starbase uses more fuel while it's online. The fitting requirements haven't been properly balanced yet so I can't give any hard numbers, but we're expecting that most people will just leave theirs online permanently.

I didint think that those array were seeded at all. But if they are available they should be available on all markets, same with everything else.

thx for the info greyscale
these structures sound very cool. a much needed change and an answer to all the allience account sharing that goes on for cyno nets altho as as they require sov sux for those that live between a npc sov region and empire such as venal but u cant have everything i guess
thx again for the speedy responce

When these structures are online, will the cyno show as being active in the system with something that any player can warp to? Sales: Capital Ships | Covetors Delivered - Bulk/Package/BYOM |

Hm, now how about those new Cynosural System Jammer structures? What effect will they have on cynofield arrays? ---

Everything which creates a Cynosural Field goes Offline or you arn't able to activate such modules

So what good is a jammer then if you can't create cyno fields yourself? This means you can't plop one down in <home system> and force the enemy to take the out the hard way before superblobbing the system. ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic |

You can, you just have to arrange to have the jammer turned off, which will create a half-hour window of vulnerability. If you're smart, you'll wait to create your Cyno until the last few minutes of the onlining process for the jammer.

i have to agree with u here if the anti cyno field array stops friendly cynos too then this is a bit broken imho
it would be really nice if instead u can still use the cyno array on a pos in systems that have an anti cyno field array but not normal cyno gens. this would stop spys from opening feilds for hostile fleets and negating the anti cyno field.
turning the anti cyno array off and on to allow friendly cap ships in is gonna be a hassle and is gonna require hassling some poor sod with pos right to do it all the time.

FYI, when the jammer array has 5 minutes or less to online, its forces cyno generator arrays to go offline, and will not allow cyno fields to be generatoed from a ship, so it actually starts jamming before its online??? ------------------------------------
