Phoenix:
In terms of Caldari design philosophy, the Phoenix is a chip off the old block. With a heavily tweaked missile interface, targeting arrays of surpassing quality and the most advanced shield systems to be found anywhere, it is considered the strongest long-range installation attacker out there to be powered by an Intel 286.

Falcon
After realizing they were the only faction without a recon cruiser, the Caldari State scrambled to catch up in the arms race. Ishukone was given the task: Design a prototype Recon Cruiser with specialized modifications to rival those of the other three factions.
Within three sleepless days, Ishukone had produced it's first Falcon. Differently colored formation lights and a spiffy new paint job cleverly disguised the fact that the Ishukone techs merely modified a Blackbird to fit a cloaking device.

Harbinger: Right from its very appearance on a battlefield, the Harbinger proclaims its status as massivly inferior to all other tier 2 battlecruisers, a laser bouncing off every omnitank there is. Everything about it exhibits this focused intent to be shiny but ineffective, from the lights on its nose and wings, to the large number of turreted high slots that serve to drain your capacitator in no time. If any heathens arn't laughing after the Harbinger's initial assault, its drones will take care of that by milling about uselessly.
...and yes. The Harbinger is probably my favorite ship =( But, as always, "good but just not as good as the rest of the pack" seems to be the general Amarr designphilosophy. ______________________________________________ -You can never earn my respect, only lose it. Edited by: Merin Ryskin on 28/05/2007 07:08:09 Chimera:
The Chimera represents the peak of Caldari starship engineering. Packed with advanced technology and several breakthroughs in system miniaturization, the Chimera provides capital-level firepower in a battleship-sized hull. How the Chimera's cargo holds contain more volume than the ship itself is a mystery, and a source of great frustration to Gallente engineers. But all this does not come without a price, the captain of a Chimera must seek alternate methods of size compensation when flying alongside fellow capital pilots.

(insert your ship here)
Although designed to be the be all, end all of the (your empire), she has only proven to be an excellent combat vessel. When you first look at her stats, you drool and contemplate how amazing the (your ship) really is. Not living up to any of those expectations, you loose it multiple times until you finally get it right. Sadly you continue searching for another ship that you can totally pwn in.
Skill Bonus Your ego +/- 1 for each time you lose/keep this ship

The peaceful space cow can often be found grazing on other low sec battleships or even working for various empires. Its hoard of drones can decimate a cap drained enemy in a short time.

Just fixed a few descriptions
Deimos
Sharing more tactical elements with larger vessels than with its size-class counterparts, the Deimos represents the final word in up-close-and-personal expensive death cruiser combat. Venture too close to this one, and swift killmail is your only guarantee.
Nidhoggur
Essentially a gimped version of its big brother the Hel, the Nidhoggur nonetheless displays the same uselessness evident in its sibling. Quite purposefully created for nothing less than all-out capout, and quite comfortable with that fact, the Nidhoggur will no doubt find itself a mainstay of many a pos.
Vagabond
The fastest cruiser invented to date, this vessel is ideal for screaming WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE on ts where both lameness and epeen are required. Its on-board power core may not be strong enough to handle pretty much anything , but when it comes to being a pain in the backside, the Vagabond can't be beat.
*snip* Sas has spoken this tread shall be locked. |

Bellicose
Being a highly stupid class of Minmatar ships, the Bellicose has been used as a comedy juggernaut as well as a support ship for wings of reapers on the test server. While not quite in the league of bantams, the Bellicose is still a very ******** ship for most purposes, especially in terms of mining scordite.

The Tempest is one of the Republic Fleet's key vessels; a versatile pile of duct tape and construction girders proficient at long-range OMGINSTAPOP and capable of dishing out specialized types of kin/exp damage with great effectiveness, while rocking sensually from port to starboard. A t2 equipped squadron of Tempests has been proven time and time again to be an omgwtfbbq asset in a fleet battle, whose opponents call primary at their own peril.
Special Ability: pops a target battleship every 8 seconds.

Jesus christ, get a rupture or stabber. self destruct this ship now or fly it into lowsec unfitted, then burn your clothes.
Special Ability: +100% to your deathrates until you get a rupture or stabber, moron.

Ah, no one has done the Typhoon yet??
Typhoon
The Typhoon one of the older Minmatar ships, so old infact that no-one remembers what the hell it was supposed to look like. Although telling the back from the front is quite difficult for pod pilots unaccustomed with this ship, it used to be a favourite amoungst speed junkies who thought it was cool out-running interceptor pilots. However this piloting style strangly died out a while ago.

Huginn
A friendly carebear ship whose name originates from the verb "to hug". Because it is so butt-ugly many a gang take pity on it and take it out to play. It also has funny ears which are in constant motion, straining to detect interceptors and frig tacklers, souls of whom Huginn feasts upon. It however rarely has a chance to do so, as everything smaller than a cruiser that happens to be on the same grid goes "OMGHUGINN RUNXZOR!!11" and does so, fearing its mighty bonus to target painting. That is the main reason why Hug is so skinny and light. Many confused pilots think that Huginn runs on weed, judging from the green exaust, but, as mentioned earlier, it doesn't. _________ Unless otherwise noted, the gibberish I blurt out has absolutely nothing to do with my corp's or alliance's opinions. |

Slasher
The design of this ship comes from the ancient japanese paper folding art, Origami. It's still believed in Caldari State that if anyone can fold a paper in the form of a Slasher, his/her wishes will come true. It is knowm throughout Minmatar Republic, however, that the factories that are manufacturing the Slashers are home to thousands of japanese paper folders, helping the Matari warmachine going.

Sacrilege
When Amarr Empire re-established it's links with Khanid Kingdom, they were anxious to exchange technologies to support their war against the rebelling Minmatar slaves. Amarr naval officials requested Khanid corporations to design a poweful Heavy Assault ship and provided with their Maller design. The Khanid Kingdom engineers painted the Maller black, removed a turret slot and a low slot, named it Sacrilege and sold it back to Amarr Empire 50 times the price. This was the biggest disaster since Knut, the king of vikings, ordered ten thousand battle helmets with the horns inside.

Prophecy
The Prophecy is built on an ancient Amarrian warship design dating back to the time when lasers didn't suck. Originally intended as a full-fledged battleship, it was determined after mixed fleet engagements with current EANMs that the Prophecy would be more effective as a glorified paperweight.
