I have 1 free character space, which i intend to use for making cash. Simply, what is the best career choice for this with as little training time as possible? Thanks for any responses

Noglops maybe you could be a little more specific. Are you looking to run missions, mine, day trade? All are ways to make good money. Once you put some thought into what you enjoy doing to make money is the key and from that point it would be much easier to offer you some suggestions of how to be the most efficient in that path.

There is no adequate answer to your question, as more skills = more ISK, plain and simple.
More industrial skills? Mine and make.
More combat skills? Rat or mission. Pirate or fleet battle or whatever.
More science skills? R&D agents, sell you some datacores.
More freighter/carrier skills? Move crap around for people.
The more SPs you have, the better you can do and thus the more ISK you'll make. ------------------------------- Sorry I stunk up the factory.

Do you have spare capital? Either an alt with Production Efficiency 5 (a couple weeks training), or an in-station trading alt (no training needed).

In the long run it would be idiotic to take up any of the character slots.... just train skills on your main character instead :/

Not neccesarily true.
I currently have many active accounts. And one of them is a research scientist with max skills. But even with max skills you can only research 10 slots at a time. With a medium POS I have far more lab slots to use and can't. So on my other active accounts I created two research alts. I had to stop training on those main characters for a day but after that I was able to use those two alts to do PE recearch on 10 slots and used my main to do the more important ME research (which takes a lot longer to train)
So those two main alts are now ticking away on their training and every now and then I log on to those two research alts to load them up with PE research jobs. (You could use the same idea with manufacturing alts)
Or you could have a second account and be training that one to do research. Eventually it will be a perfect researcher would have no reason to train higher. You could then pay $20 to move it into one of your main alt's slots. This costs a bit but you don't slow down the training of your main at all... and you get another way to make isk without having to pay for two accounts (after you move it to your main account)

I'd interested to know how an alt with PE5 and a hauler is going to sort ISK out for you?

Hauling things is something no one likes to do, and everyone needs done. ------------------- My opinions (ie, all of my posting here) are not my corporations. Nor should it be taken as such. |
