ok for the last 3 hours on even i went in every region in cal - gal space looking for robotic demand / supply i found tons of 153 items for supply..
Demand is Very rare... and when i did find some it was for 6,705 isk and the supply was 6,300-6,500 from npc you can just think about what PC prices were ( i saw prices from 12,000-120,000 ) 2x the demand.. well if someones diong agent running i can understand if its miles from any supply but jesus 120k thats just dumb market grief'ing...
is there any point trading atm with only 153 demand in any station ( for this item Robotics )
im looking for answers coz not many ppl in my corp are online atm 9 sleep'ing/Working ) can anyone give me help/info npc trading for a short term trader ( i can only trade in my frig atm ) so 100 cargo bay is all i got to use any items worth trading coz so far robotics has been said to be the best item to trade but 500isk profit per item doesnt seem that good to me......

Isn't robotic needed for crafting T2 items?

Edited by: Wulfnor on 10/01/2004 15:37:36 Robotics are consumed in makeing TL2 items though it is not known in how many items this is true. Presumably this will drive PC demand up. No way of telling really until more TL2 items are made.
As for the rest of the market in npc supply/demand, time spent earning isk this way would be more profitably spent mineing scordite. I am speaking here of in-space tradeing.
For me it is not the profit margins so much as the quantities and the slowness with which the items rise in price as opposed to the rapidity with which they decline.
As boring as it might be I would advise a newby to stay away from tradeing for now and mine. If they simply had to trade I would suggest an MWD capable ship with large cargo and stick to items of 1m3 or less.

People don't seem to have worked out yet that, just because there's only 133 of an item at any one time, that doesn't mean the station only produces 133 of it in a day. Market seeding, remember?

I received a Tech 2 BP on Chaos for something like a Tech 2 shield recharger(!)
It required a few units of robotics to make one module IIRC.

If you absolutely need robotics for T2, run missions for a corp that sells them.
I have a monster stack of robotics and hydrogen batteries in my hangar from Duvolle missions (no I'm not selling them) ------------ Ezra Cornell pe0n, Xanadu Corporation |

"is there any point trading atm with only 153 demand in any station ( for this item Robotics )"
... Don't assume there's demand for just 153 units because the market says so. The market information is simply not adjusted for the recent changes, and as such nearly useless.
I sold ~5k of plutonium yesterday at station which was supposedly interested in buying 300 units. How? Turns out as soon as 300 units were sold, new buy order was generated for another 300 units, with slightly lower price per unit.
In a nutshell, there's currently no way to tell real size of demand as far as NPC corporation go. For all i know it could be unlimited, and selling items to the NPC's simply lowers the price until the seller decides it's no longer profitable to them. o.O
