Question, how come there is none inventing a Tech 2 version of this?
Best named Tech 1 is 18km range. (700k on market)
Tech 2 supposedly get 22k range.
There should be money to be made there?

What do you need 22km range for? Most people fit these on their mining ships. Strip Miners only have a 15km range which also happens to be the same range as the basic T1 module. Since it's annoying to scan things that you can't mine most people won't fit more than that.

Yeah, i only use the t1 myself for the specific reason that if it shows up i can mine it without moving.

My alt's Hulk chew through roids so fast I rather scan as many as possible before I pick a spot.
At 62 m/s the more I scan the more I can choose from. Not sure why a low range scanner would ever benefit you?

Use the overview and tactical to pick your spots. Scan and then mine everything listed. No thinking required until everything is gone. Then you up and move to a new spot and repeat the process. This method is faster and easier than constantly zig zagging through a belt chasing after the bigger roids.
