Does anyone have any ideas for a lowish SP Caracal small gang PvP setup that won't get completely eaten? I'm playing around with quickfit and everything I'm coming up with looks like a deathtrap for PvP (fairly good PvE ships though).
Dal Things I learned playing PnP RPGs:
1)Always assume that the players will bring the maximum available firepower against a peaceful objective.

I was hoping for some post Rev setups. Don't think I'll be putting a multispec jammer on this thing...

Running around with a gang:
5 x Heavy Missile Launchers
2 x Large shield extender 1 x Invuln 1 x Sensor Booster 1 x 20km warp disruptor
2 x PDU
Missile spam at range(nice for gate/station camps):
5 x Heavy Missile launchers
2 x Sensor Booster 1 x Large shield booster 1 x cap recharger 1 x shield boost amp
2 x BCU
A lot of people poo-poo the Caracal for PVP, but it is a cheap and effective ship.

highs 5 heavy launchers
meds
20km scram 10mn afterburner/micro warp drive (whichever fits) 3 sensor dampeners
lows
2 bcu
this is more of a tactical setup, and would work great in gangs, you damp your target and he cannot shoot back unless he gets reaally close, this means you effectively wont need a tank.

Win. Make sure you have the Signal Suppression to at least 4 though, otherwise it'll be a bit touch and go with stuff that's bigger than you.
And mind your cap when running all your mids.

Caracals don't do pvp. If u wanna support gang - get a blackbird. --- I swear to god, ccp choose changes in game via lottery system. |

This is the setup I use. Works great in gangs, use damps to take someone out of the fight while the 2 BCUs give you decent DPS contibution all for 6 or 7 mil ISK. It's a solid setup.
