I have been doing missions for Gallente and Caldari navy's working towards the navy bs's of each empire. While working to that goals, I've noticed that my Amarr faction is going down faster then the assault launchers on a Raven. Diplomacy is keeping it usable but I don't like this tend since I enjoy mining in Amarr space.
What's the fastest way to improve Amarr faction without ruining my faction with the other 3 since I'm sure working on Amarr will lower Minmatar faction?
Amarr is currently at -0.98 with skills, it's -0.54 Minmater is 0.09 with skills, it's 1.28 Caldari is 0.33 with skills, it's 1.49 Gallente is 0.37 with skills, it's 1.53

Its not really feasable to become popular with all of the empires. In order to get high enough standings for the Faction BS you need to work for one of the main power blocs, Amarr-Caldari or Minmatar-Gallante. Working for one bloc makes you popular with them and their ally but automatically makes the other two not like you, (why would they like someone working for their enamy?) I believe it is possible to get positive standing withh all empires but it wont be very high and will require you to work for all of the races and skip any mission vs another empire.

Because of diminshing returns it is supposed ot be impossible to get above 5 wiht eac empire. Here is what I have done and what is wrong with your attempt.
There are 4 factions, split into two sides: Matari-Gallente v. Amarr-Caldari
Doing a storyline for one empire raises its standings towards you and their ally. I have done a ton of Caldari storylines and my amarr is at 5 just from that. There is a guide in my sig.
Doing Caldari and Gallente storyline will just keep cancelling each other out so you'll get nowhere, and youll drive down the other empires. However, if you do all cadari or all gallente itll make the other one stink but there is a lower limit. Here's what you do:
Open Caldari or Gallente Faction information, go to standings and choose 'disliked by'. For example Caldari is disliked by Gallente at '-5' so your standings towards Gallente cannot drop past -5 (before diplomacy mind you) from only caldari missions. (It can get below -5 if you do Amarr Missions.
If you really want to do the grind for all four factions do this:
Grind 1 Until you get the offers. Take the empire faction that hates you most and then grind them up, you're going to need diplomacy and a lot of patience. Repeat ignoring the ones you've already done. You should never drop below -5 (well maybe a little since you've already kinda spooged your storylines about) and you can get the offers. But keep in mind this will take freaking forever. Get Caldari and Gal then quit, the other navy ships arent worth as much.

OP: For now, train a few more levels of the 'diplomacy' skill. That should take care of it... for now. |

You only get shot at if your faction standing is -5 or worse, so you've still got a way to go.

The low sec cosmos for the Ammar/Caldar and Minnie/Gal sides is by far the fastest way to change faction standings - no way to keep them all high but you can go and do the low sec if you need to change the standing one way or the other quickly
