Had maruud not posted, a fair few people might not have noticed for a couple of days and possibly missed out on avoiding cancellation fees. This comes after the final voting was postponed for more than a week without anyone even posting regarding what or why. The issue is that there was no announcement on Eve-Online.com by anyone concerned, it was just dropped on a site that a lot of people haven't even seen before (I ordered tickets and hadn't even seen www.eonawards.com until I saw the cancellation linked, I just got them straight from the link in the Sales Thread, like a lot of people I know did.) Still, it's nice to get a response eventually. There's an ass load of planning down the drain for everyone, MMM included.
