I got an offer from one of my agents. She wants me to give her 300 slaves and 1k LP, in return she will give me: 20 science graduates, 30 strippers, 30 janitors, etc, etc.. I forget exactly. But is this a good deal? And where do I get slaves from? I havent seen any on the market in the regions near me...

Seems like a waste to me, but if you really want to take the offer then there are plenty of slaves for sale in the Genesis region.

So it's not a good offer i take it? I thought the science grads were worth some money? Of course the thread I was reading about science grads was from 2004....

not worth it. the "bring x illegal item" deals are often a Bad deal (until you get to very high levels indeed).
slaves are Illegal to transport in Min space, for obvious reasons. trying to ship them can get you large fines, get you exploded, all sorts of badness.
not to say its impossible to get away with, but think of it this way: you have to kinda get lucky at every one of the Many gates your going to go through.. Customs only needs to get lucky once.
note: yes, as I said its still possible to do. just full of risk in great excess to the reward at this level.

I haven't seen an "Illegal" offer since revelations.
Interesting.

I've got slaves all over the place.
It seems I'm allowed to bring them home after rescuing them from a mission, but the local authorities won't allow me to move them.
Hence I have a stack all spread out all over the place. If you want them, contact me in game - usually just before or just after downtime I'm on.
But looking at the offer - I would save the loyalty points for something better. Cheers Baka ______________________ Have a Skill in training every second of every day and never let your bank balance sink below your skill points. |

Ok, thanks everyone, I think I'll save my LP for a better offer. I dont want to get exploded or fined for transporting slaves. It seems like my agent should give me a pass or something to let me bring the slaves in. Because according to her offer, she is taking the slaves and training them to be scien****, strippers, janitors, and homeless.......

Interesting.
I had a slave offer last night - I was asked to bring 10 freed slaves, and I would be given 9 slaves.....

With the new LP store coming it probably isn't worth using any LP until you accumulate many tens of thousands (or until Rev 2 is live next week).
I haven't heard much about the new LP rewards, but they apparently require LP and ISK now but it gives you so much greater flexibility than the current system that I am very much looking forward to it.

As I understand it, you will get agent offers proportional to your LP total. Thus, if you cash in the offers every time, you get a bunch of small offers. If you decline every offer, eventually you get enough to get a really nice offer with your saved LP. Course I hear the LP cost for a Faction ship is pretty damned high. At least for the Navy Raven, anyways...

The value/LP ratio tends to remain fairly constant up the scale, with the exception of the Connections skillbooks. However, after the Tuesday patch, you're going to be able to choose offers, and this will cause total mayhem in the market for offered goods.
