Edited by: Sea Pound on 14/06/2007 11:11:25 i am currently at about 19m SP. i do have some nice skills trained to V amarr bs 5 both cap skills 5 drone interfacing 5 weapon upgrade 5 controled burst 5 mechanic skills 4-5
so my thought now is... what skills do i need/want to bring to 5. ofcourse skills that is needed to unlock new or that is needed to use ships/modules.
but skills other than that? is 3 enough or is 4 enough or can 5 be good still in some?
atm i think i am in need to give navigation skills some love. should i make all go to 4 and then stop or will 3 be fine? then i need to give drones some love also... and same question there... what lvl should i settle with until i really really know what the skill do and if i am really in need of more frome that one?
thanks

Edited by: Otanes on 14/06/2007 11:24:47 I dont mean to sound like a troll but how can you get to 19mill SP and not be able to decide that for yourself? If you really, genuinely need advice on this then i'd suggest downloading quickfit. There you can play with your skills to your hearts content and see what effects the changes will have on the ships that you fly and your set-ups.

ofc i can decide that for myself but i was rather looking for other opinions.
like if you rather train skills up to 3 or if you try to stay on one subject for a long time like maxing out drones before you even train others...

Edited by: Zulana Chas on 14/06/2007 20:47:55 The basic skills to train to 5 , I would think are the following almost regardless of your build with few exceptions
Most of the below should be in most builds
Drones Electronics Engineering Gunnery Hull Upgrades Mechanics Missile Launcher Ops Navigation Science Weapon Upgrades

Personally I wanted to train all my skills to lvl 4 that I currently have partly trained, checked this out on Eve Mon and it's gonna take 171 days, so decided to give that one a miss.
In my opinion it depends on what a skill gives you as to whether or not it's worth it. Unless you really have nothing else to train. |

Hmmm... aren't there some ship handling skills that need this at V? Jumpdrive operation comes to mind. ---------------------------------------------- "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent."

Personally, I'd get Science V so that you can combine it with Engineering V, Electronics V, or Mechanic V and do some research on the side.

Check the skills needed for Absolution and you will be set for a while.
But tbh, it all depends on what you fly and how you fly it.
We're sorry, something happened.
