This thread might provide the setup you need for multiple accounts / multiple servers.
Originally by: Windle Poons Oh, and you shouldn't move people files without asking. I'd also suggest that my docs is a crappy place for logs seeing as it is often redirected to a network share. Local settings is also a crappy place for the cache as its not copied with roaming profiles.
Thanks for the comments.
We have to move the files to maintain compatibility with Windows Vista, there isn't much choice. Sorry.
We think MyDocs is an ideal place for those logs since that's the place users would store pictures and screenshots anyway and storing chatlogs and marketlogs there as well seems quite natural. This is not going to generate heavy network traffic. We are using "Local Settings\Application Data" exactly because that's where non-roaming data should be stored.
Thanks to all of you for all the feedback during the development of Revelations II. We start the deployment in 15 hours. We hope you enjoy it!
The files have to be in the new location, I can understand that. Moving 40,000 log files and screenshots (Over 1GB) to my network is not acceptable WITHOUT ASKING. The client doesn't give any progress indication, it simply dissapears until it has finished (also not good as it looks like it crashed).
The second instance of EVE that is run, sees the new folders and doesn't bother copying anything at all! (Which is good in a way, I can't sepearate them after they are merged anyway).
Local settings is a good place for the Cache, it is not a good place for the Settings folder!

Overview
* The overview is now 'in front' of the in space icons. This will prevent accidental targeting of the wrong target when the icon and the overview entry are in the same place on screen.
this is not happening with this patch. I talked to QA about this on sisi earlier and was told that the overview was ment to be able to be clicked through by design.
I hope they change their minds on this.

Right now every test server patch moves all the data from the cache folder in the EVE install path to MyDocuments etc. Please, please add a check box to future patchers to not do this, otherwise you have to move all files from MyDocuments and LocalSettings back to where you want to have it.
I would be very gratefull for it!

Not sure I understand the whole moving of folders with user data and stuff to another spot. Don't really care where they will be.
Only question I have is, will I still be able to run multiple accounts off one installation of Eve without changing anything?

I have been trying to keep track on this thread...
Has the proximity of Gang members to the agent to gain LP, ISK and Standing rewards (same Station, Solar System... what ever) been replied to?
Originally by: CCP Kieron's Patch Notes

This will prevent accidental targeting of the wrong target when the icon and the overview entry are in the same place on screen. This was mistakenly added to the notes, it wil be evaluated for Revelations 2.1

What the hell... those QA guys must be out of their minds. This is the single most annoying bug (feature?) there is regarding gameplay (besides the camera reset after jump). At least make it an option in the preferences please.

Um, silly question?
What happened with the NOS changes that were pending?
Why were they removed? Why was this a secret and 180'ed?
In short, just a big ole 'Why?'
Myself and a few others were eager to see what changes were finally being made to these modules. Perhaps we are in the minority but based on some of the reactions to the patch note of fellow pilots, I don't think so.
Can any information at all be given on this? ~ Why is it those with the greatest responsibility to make good decisions so often seem the least capable or inclined?

You will be able to run multiple accounts without any modifications, since the client automatically handles multiple accounts and multiple characters. If you look in the folder "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\Settings" you will see the current settings files.
The only conflict players might have is when running multiple different clients against multiple servers, i.e., one client against Tranquility, another client against Singularity and the third client against Multiplicity (all different client versions). That's when you need to use the "/end /LUA:OFF" switches, or perhaps examine the advice in this thread, to prevent the different clients from conflicting with each other.
We start deployment in 7 hours. Enjoy!

A little suggestion:
Make the path: Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\<Server Name>\cache and Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\<Server Name>\settings
That would maybe solve the multi-server issue. Simply change the path the application uses after server selection and login. As the Sisi client shouldn't be able to run on TQ and vice versa this might be an option.
Thoughts?

I think they were planning to make multiple NOS cause heat gain but removed it until they could get heat more sorted.

While it's nice to hear someone has some idea what the deal was, i've also heard via the IRC dev chat that it may have been a 'joke' and no meaningful changes were being made.
Either way, an official answer on this would be nice considering the excessively cryptic way it was handled.
Thanks Dal.

From patch notes:
Small meta and t2 nosferatu's also get a range bonus now, like the medium and heavy ones. Small Nosferatu II drain amount decreased to 9.6 and range decreased to 5500 meters.
so they did post the nos changes. I know we all hoped for more (or should I say a lot less) than just a boost to small nos.
