Hello everyone!
I have always wondered what ship would be the best for 0.0 hauling. so would try to open a debate here about which ship would be the best.

Entirely different ships for entirely different purposes.
You'll generally get more mileage out of the viator, though. The deep space transports are honestly too slow to do their job properly. |

Rorqual -> JF -> Carrier -> Black Op -> T3 with cloak and bouble immunity -> Viator. I need new signature. |

#()*#&$&^% Forum. (every time i forget to CTRL C it eats it)
Anyhow, I use both, living out of a C1 with LS static. Basically the Viator gets used all the time. It will fly through almost anything. It can fly full speed cloaked, over 1000m/s with MWD. Can be setup to align as fast as a stock frigate. I imagine in null with bubbles you will have close to the same survivability as a covert ops.
The DST aligns slow as ****. It can be setup with enough EHP to usually survive a small camp while burning back to the gate.
Basically we only use the DST when we get an exit in a quiet part of LS close to HS. In general I'd say the blockade runners see use 15+ times a month. The DST maybe once every couple of months. |

BR > DST for sure. Speed is what saves you from gatecamps, bubbles, and other whatnot; EHP just prolongs the inevitable, and in null, +2 warp strength is next to useless anyway as it won't save you from that bubble on the other gate. |

both are viable if you use proper scouting.

Frankly anything that can be targeted will die at some point (no matter what sec status) hence a cloaker is always superior to non cloaked version when survivability in concerned. If they cannot target then you cannot die simple as that, hence I would never ever use anything but blockade runner outside of high sec or a capital for transferring anything remote valuable ( = worth a suicide in high sec).

Hilarious. Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all. |

When doing small scale hauling in 0.0 i normally use BR's too. If you use a scout in front of a DST and mainly travel in non-pipe systems it is a viable option too. However, as mentioned above the DST is alot slower (both regarding alignment and warp speed) then the BR.
The BR's really shine in systems where you can't make a safe cyno (POS refueling in camped space etc.), otherwise I tend to use the different capital options - Rhea <3. Jump drives truely decreases the travel time. |

Blockade Runners are superb, and useful in hisec, lowsec, and nullsec.
I have a viator on my alt. For hisec I use a shield buffer and either nanos or cargo expanders. I can fit 3 giant containers for about 12k m3, while still moving through hisec extremely fast due to fast warp speed and high agility. Short of being exceptionally unlucky, you are immune to suicide ganks or the other dangers of hisec.
If you don't need the full cargo, you can fit nanos or warp stabs. If you swap the LSE and MSE for a mwd you can go exceptionally fast. Combined with your cloak you can run almost any lowsec camp unscouted, or cloak +mwd back to your entrance gate and escape.
You can move about nullsec with near impunity. However, if you are lazy and warp into a drag bubble, you will die.
Deep space transports have a much smaller role. They aren't good for moving high value cargo in hisec, they can be caught much easier in lowsec. Much of their role is taken by that of a freighter. The advantage is having 3x the cargo space. I'd say its ideal for moving large volumes distances of a few jumps, or moving ore to a pos or refinery, or fueling poses. Places where you're unlikely to get caught, you need the versatility of an industrial, but a freighter doesn't work, and a blockade runner isn't big enough. Somewhere where the +2 warp strength will save you from that afk cloaker that becomes active as you move through doing your stuff. |

Viator > Itty V > Occator
The Viator can escape things. Neither of the other two can survive any attack, so pick the cheapest and biggest one.
Except in PvP in which case, Cyno Occator is hilarious bait. |
