This is a compilation of some of the huge ass fleets that were flying around at the hight of the war. It features four Titans, lots of MC mother ships, and a vast amount of lag.
At the end, there is some footage of the infamous F-T battle. You will never see that many caps fighting toe to toe again, it was crazy being a part of those mega blobs.
So here you go, my memories of the most insane fleet battles I have ever seen

I'm going to re-encode it in a few minutes, shouldn't take long.

lol..I am pretty sure its mpeg 4, most ppl complain about my codecs
It's worth the download, but I guess I would say that
For the guys that have never seen that kind of scale of battle, its shocking!

Well the quality looks much worse than what MPEG-4 would be at that bitrate, and MPEG-4 doesn't fit in .MPG files anyways IIRC. And the audio is Mpeg Layer II... that is, what they used before MP3!
Don't worry, the re-encode will be in soon, but the quality won't be nearly as good as what it would be if my source material was better

Ok...do your thing I try to keep the files small so maybe I over compressed, but the original F-T footage was at a stunning 2fps
If you have watched it...what did you think of those blobs man Them were crazy days

Video re-encoded using the AutoEncoder! Its 18MB now.
Obligatory instructions if it doesn't play:
You'll need the CCCP (codec pack) or VLC (standalone player) in order to play the video. Also note you need a pretty fast computer to play it back without stuttering. If your computer is too slow to play the video at full speed, download this codec pack and install *only* the included CoreAVC. If you have the CCCP or FFDshow already installed, disable H.264 decoding in its video codec settings to activate CoreAVC. Note that VLC does not support CoreAVC.

DS: no offence but you turn every Video thread into a codec discussion thread, sure people appreciate what your doing, but leave some room for discussion on the video :(

keep posting DS and re-encoding, lets rescue eve-files and allow us to download stuff in minutes not hours.
Most appreciate it, those that dont, vote with your bandwidth and download the 105MB version, the rest of us will download the 18MB version.
I am sure Chribba will do what he needs to do to maintain the service he wants.

DS has done a great job re-encoding it, there is very little loss of detail compared to the source he had.
However, the audio track seems to have lost sync with the edits.
After all the encoding talks, did anyone actually like it

Wasn't bad, good little flick. Personally I would have like seeing more of the action instead of clips of the action, but very nice editing and overall a good vid
