Was looking for the Amarr R&D agents that offer research in the Mechanical Engineering Field and was disappointed to only find 1?? Amarr Faction is already gimped in that it only has 2 corporations with R&D agents (All other races have 3) and was excited when I heard this patch was going to finally end the Caldari monopoly on Mech. Eng. agents.
Please tell me I missed an agent somewhere, but from what I can find Viziam has NONE, and Carthum Conglomerate has just one that's only Level 1 q10. Is this all we get? I guess 1 is better than none, but at this RP rate, I'll maybe be getting 2-3 Datacores a week? That's barely a Frigate bpc...
Since many Inventing jobs require Mechanical Eng. Datacores this puts us at a disadvantage......either we're not meant to invent or maybe we're meant to oppress the inventors and steal their designs? :P

Gallente were completely forgotten on Mechanical Engineering agents.
It's quite possible none of the promised agents were delivered today.

Yup, Not one of these has Mechanical Engineering listed. Bug? The funny part is the single r&d agent that I did find that now offers Mechanical Engineering ISN'T listed....

I wish a dev would just come out and say if mechanical engineering is broken/getting fixed or not. I see seeds in the field but there are never any fewer BPOs, so I wonder if they are even being seeded.

I've looked and looked and can find no CCP or DEV response about this. Do they know that the field of research "mechanical engineering" did not get added to any Gallente agents? I know there are a host of other issues with the patch and this one doesn't effect everyone but I wish we would at least get to find out when and if its going to be fixed or added like it is described in the patch notes.

Firstly, it isn't working as intended and they do know..
Secondly, if it really bothers you, then log in and file a detailed bug report here.
Thirdly, there are quite a few Mechanical Engineering agents already; far more decent Minmatar ones than Caldari. Also, you can always look at the prices for datacores on the market and buy them like everyone else. Since you can sell any obtained direct from a research agent they are hardly "free" in the first place.
