When I produce now it seems to take 100% longer time to produce something in empire. I have some jobs that before took 3 days, but now they take 6 days. Anyone know the reason? |

Yes ive noticed that, no mention of it in the patch notes. Things that use to take 2 min to produce (Antimatter S for example, now take 5) I hope this is just a silly mistake and CCP have not been doing anything naughty.

Actually, there was mention in the patch notes, though admittedly not very specific mention:

Just come across this too. What took 21hrs pre patch is now 53 hours!

Yeah, this is a big change! Supply of T1 ammo just halved (sort of) overnight!
Watch out for signficant price increases (and profit per unit sold, although not profit per unit production time), until new suppliers enter the market.

No it's not hard to enter the T1 ammo market.... but most people don't bother..
Before the patch I could just barely keep up with the demand for the ammo I make. Seriously, If I made any mistake in my schedule , I'd be sold out within hours.
Now it takes 2x the time to produce the stuff... there goes sales, there goes profits, ... what a pain.

While this nerfes my production as well, POS Assembly Array become a bit more usefull this way. Maybe one day it is worth using them. :-D (Yeah, yeah, I know they have some uses purposes, but not to me currently.) --

I sort of makes sense in a sick twisted CCP kind of way. Think about it, with the LP store the faction version of most common items are no accessible. In order to get most of this stuff you not only need LP and isk, but the same amount of the Tech1 items. So add that to the fact that mission HAVE changed and are more difficult for the non-combat character as well as the solo character and you have a situation where we have a new isk sink.
Most flying missions use Raven/Drake/Ferox cause of varible missle damage type. Faction missle cost way to much to both use and sale on the market with the cost of the t1 ammo due to the production time.
So it sort of makes sense, not good sense, but sense never the less.
