"lag" is when it takes ten seconds to activate a module or open a window.
When we're getting into the 5 minutes and up range, I'm going to have to say that Motsu is more broken than laggy. :p

It's because of all you greedy asshats that MUST HAVE that extra 150 LP per mission, instead of taking a slightly less quality agent a few jumps away, where there is no lag.

Any system that is unplayable by paying customers due to the technical limitations of CCP's product should be either:
1) Fixed
2) Removed
Since it seems that #1 isn't happening #2 will definitely solve the problem. The argument will be that players will create this problem again elsewhere, but if that happens, then use #2 again. Eventually either CCP will resolve its product's limitations or lose customers. Either end result will solve the problem. You can do the same missions almost anywhere in the eve universe, NOTHING is forcing you to stick to that one system. www.eve-agents.com is your friend
This Link has all the lvl 4 agents for the caldari state, 99% of all of them give you a CNR.
Im sorry your too dumb to move stop *****ing about it on the forums and solve the problem you self like the rest of us do.

Everytime the server gets a major patch the resource allocation gets bogged up and the busy mission runner systems get laggy. It's been a trend for the last 18 months. Jita gets fixed before the mission runner hubs. It will return to normal in a few days, when they get the load distribution right.

Not any more. Now it's even better. You can run missions for ANY agent in the Caldari Navy (and possibly other Caldari fation corporatins?) ANYWHERE and then go to ANY Caldari Navy station and simply buy one from the Ye Newwe LP Shoppe.
So... GTFOO Motsu.

Wait. You WANT to run missions, but it has to be in one system where you CANNOT?
If you want to run them go elsewhere and run them. Seems to me you're losing a lot more but not doing anything than you would be if you ran them elsewhere. Something > Nothing.

Or how about CCP actually fixing bottlenecks instead of doing things like overheating...
I think actually spreading out a few lvl 4's of the same quality 10 jumps away from eachother would help spread it allot, also just simply allocating extra servers to problem constallations would help as well.
Why would you guys be bashing people that want to go to a safe system to get the best agent? It's common sence. All you guys that are telling him to STFU are dumb, your paying for this game yet happen to be defending CCP saying "it's ok if you do a bad job with laggy systems it's just the players fault you know!"

I agree with you on this one. Its like buying a car with aircon in a hot country and finding out the aircon doesn't work and the manufacturer saying well move to a cooler country. <edit> You specifically bought the car with the aircon and it should work properly.</edit> IMHO, a lot of the problem with the Motsu/Saila region is Macro Mission runners hammering the high end missions as well as the legitimate pod pilots. I see them every night. Groups of characters all with random character names or similar names to the rest in the group, all noob corps, all characters in any particular group are the generally the same age, all flying the same ships, all flying the same routes.
Also I would hazard a guess that Motsu and Saila are both on the same node which wouldn't help with the load they are being put under.
If they could put in measures to try and force Macroers out of the game (inputting a validation code made of random characters if no physical input in x minutes maybe?) and maybe spread out the high end agents in that area a bit more as someone mentioned, also if they are all on the same node then split them. Then I think we would notice a big change in the region in terms of speed and lag.
But the answer definately should not be "If you don't like it move to another region of space."

I don't quite understand your response and think it was a bit harsh to be honest. I haven't been to the new regions yet so I wouldn't know if there are any problems there. Been in empire since I left Feythabolis in December. Yes my post mentioned specifics regarding the problems for mission runners in the Motsu/Saila area because that was the original post for this thread, but it also has a broader message of if something isnt working properly that it should be fixed by CCP rather than people saying "If you don't like it move elsewhere".
And regarding the 8 months / 5 minutes... We all know that Motsu has been nearly as notorious as Jita for lag for months now, (although I must say I have found Jita to be slightly less laggy with 4 times as many people in than Motsu/Saila are).

Imagine that, in Jita/Motsu/wherever, mission rats decided to not show up sometimes, or randomly warp off, or not drop anything. Then, if you actually got things to work out ok, sometimes, your agent would forget to pay you. Oh, and keep in mind, that the bounties on those rats? It's dynamic, and by "dynamic," I mean "gets smaller everyday."
I'll only touch on that one segment, but, honestly, if missions were so broken, you could mine, trade, whatever. We have rats, sometimes, on good days, when we sacrifice enough virgins, but not TOO many. It's mystifying, the balance.

I think that comes from everyone assuming it's just another Motsu lag whine, instead of realising it's a "since the patch, it's actually broken..." complaint. Kinda like, I went to Jita after the patch. I'm prepared to accept lag, but having to petition a GM have to get me out of system means it's broken.
I know CCP like the entire sandbox idea, but if the servers can't handle the load, maybe it's time for population caps on systems... it's obvious at the moment that in some situations the principles behind the game far outstrip the hardware it is running on!
