Both files are there.
Try downloading them with a normal browser then installing to your cellphone. |

Ok. I downloaded the program and installed it on phone, all worked well. But now I need to finds the code thingie the program asks for, where do I get that? Tried the link someone in the beginning mentioned (for API something) but that returns nothing, error occured. So something wrong? Or am I looking at wrong place?

The post is pointing to the right place: http://myeve.eve-online.com/api/default.asp.
So if that isn't working, you will probably have to contact CCP support. |

evemsp goes open source
Hopefully some of you would be interested in joining me in developing this.
You can get to the source via SVN at http://sourceforge.net/projects/evemsp/

Edited by: Samus Telvani on 20/08/2007 17:36:33 Ok thanks for replies, I now managed to install program, and input API-code (worked this time, must have been some weird error last time I tried)
But when I try to load characters, it says 203: Authenication failure. What does it mean?

Thanks! Got it working, mistyped an O for a zero. Anyway, I loaded chars and so, but skills are blank, they dont show in the list. The are all blank, until I choose load one of the skills, then it pops up text about the skill. Any way I can fix that?

Possibly an issue with the active colour scheme (theme) on your phone ? As reported here for the Nokia 6233. |

i got it installed on my Treo 700p. the program runs ok but i cant get my API key in correctly.
bugs on palm os so far: no way to copy and then paste the api key. once you run the program once and go to another app.. like text message, then go back it locks the phone up.

Looks like you're going to have to do it the old fashioned way then |

I just got a Sanyo W52SA so I don't know much about it yet. Should the app work on my phone? What's the best way to get it in there if it will work?

Thanks
Hi Shinzann,
I assume that you meant this application and not the V1 stuff.
The reason that it is in there is for the Mobile Manager which is part of the suite. If you are only using the skill planner application then the limited API key is quite sufficient, you don't need to enter the full API key if you don't want to. -- EVE Tools for cell phones and Windows/linux/Mac systems http://evemsp.sourceforge.net/ |

Jaabaa - YOU RULE MAN I've been using your EVE Skill Planner for some time, but this updated program just rocks. Congratulation's on all the hard work you must have put into this, it worked first time on my Nokia 6230. Though the portraits don't show, even using the menu option to get them.
Well done, & keep developing it, keeping us small screen users in mind though

I got it working on my Nokia 6300, but it freezes every time I try to do anything in the menu, like e.g. set options. I can see my skills though...

Note that I'm a Mobile jave whatever noob so I may say something stupid or already said.
When viewing the skill categories, scroll bar doesn't change when you expand a category. So you have to click on the arrows to get lower. When looking at the skill details you are training, the last dependancy skill is cut by it's window being too short.
Hmm how did you manage to get it to work? On my HTC Touch and my HTC Wizard I get the blank screen issue mentioned earlier. After I enter both api keys manually I just get a blank screen and nor 'Home' nor 'Add' buttons work. I checked in application data/tao/etc.. . There was some file created that contained my username and both the keys. Don't know what goes wrong really.
SelanirO
Edit: perhaps I need to try some other java? I'm using default Midlet manager atm.

I can say much about what I did honestly. I think I used the manual install and that's about what I can remember. I've played a little bit too much with that gadgety phone and might have installed a library that updated the Java or something.
But from what I can remember, I don't think I did anything really special. ------ This sig space is Read-only ! omgalink - Online Skillsheet |
