question 1: do different tiers of enhancements STACK uppon each other or does only the highest tier count? E.g: does an amarr factory outpost with an "advanced outpost factory platform" get +9 slots or +21 (+9+7+5) ? same for r&d slots and offices?
from the pure reading I'd think they add up because it reads "additional". otherwise the office upgrades would be totally useless since you could put up a fresh gallenty output and get a better office/cost ratio.
question2: do the different enhancements interfere with each other? e.g.: amar factory and plant platforms. do you get the two bonuses for ALL the factory slots or just the ones granted by the upgrade?
question3: just to make it clear: a tier3 improvement takes 1*tiert, 1*tier2 and 1*tier3 slot, right?
so the common, non capital outpost will basically be capped at haveing one tier2 upgrade with the respective tier1 upgrade as well as another tier 1 one?
Ok, lets apply logic here and see what pops out:
1) Do they stack?
No. Read the refinery upgrade descriptions. Its clear from them that they do NOT stack.
2) Do bonuses interfeer/cancel out each other.
They are seperate bonuses and are applied as such. (Unless CCP really made a mess there..) Thus you can quite a few extra slots on the amarr facotry.
3) Do you ahve to install on top of a lower tier platform?
The blog states 60 combinations. This is only true if you have to build upon a previous platform of the same type. This gives 5 * 4 * 3 = 60 end combinations. (The fact that you are forces to do it like that is the final clue that qestion 1 have to be: No they dont stack. 135% base refine on minmatar station? I think not...) If it was free form you would have 5 * 5 * 4 * 5 * 4 * 3 = 6000 combinations. (Most of which would not make sense though due to the "no stacking" in question 1.)

Refinery numbers, and time reduction numbers doesn't stack.
Manufacturing, research, office slots stack.
I dont get it, whats your point? Thats EXACTLY what I said.
Was you problem that I didn't just put up baseless assumption but actually argumented my points?

perfect, genius. you managed to pick the ONLY upgrade where it was clear IF they'd stack and where it is damn clear from the text.
people with half a braincell would have been able to tell I was talking about SLOTS (production, research and office).
Ok, why would they work differently? Seems fairly logical that they all have a linear progression in bonus. (All types, not just slots.) The only question was if the description bonus where stacking or replaced each other.
If I turn out to be wrong, i'll invite the guy who wrote the texts for the platforms out for a drink and we can kill our combines brainecell together. If im right, I expect and appology and adittance from you that you, dear sir, is the one lacking in brain capacity.

Yeah, ok. Fair enough. I'll have to admit that makes sense too.
