thanks guys, i maanged to find this information in the knowledge base. i even had the rep from tiscali looking around this site :)
so after spending some serious time on the phone i think i finally managed to get through to these guys what the actual fault is - weither we can get this fixed is another matter.
what was interesting is that the person i spoke to said that there were port restrictions put in place by BT, well i cant say i am surprised at all, and so now we are looking at facing a larger beast than just tiscali.
we are starting to get somewhere though guys - slowly we are getting through to these people what the problem is - whats annoying as hell is no one can give us a confirmed fix time.
What might help is if CCP could get in touch with them, if there are any devs reading this please could you at least try to contact tiscali on [email protected]
really suffering without eve - at least the forums have helped ease the pain as i know i am not alone.

Edited by: Skyphox on 28/06/2007 13:31:21 I just recently tried getting Eve to work at my girlfriend's house, she is on AOL. (What would be better than haveing my two fave girls in the same house!)Eve just would not work at all, in fact the site itself even seemed to be blocked. The wireless router they sent seemed to be overly secure, port forwarding 26000 got this working fine though. So if I can get Eve working through AOL of all things, must work through Tiscali as they all seem to use BT lines.
