6 highs (3launcher slots, 4 turrets) 4 mids (maybe damps mwd and scram) and 5 lows 2 rigs
would it work, think it would, BUT dps would be a huge problem,
Any thoughts, try outs feel free to post any sensible arguements (like the good old days of EVE O)

Let me get this right, you want to go fast, faster than any turret can track. Thus your choice is a heavy concrete block of turrets?
Sac got a few things going for it. Tank and decent lazrz damage, basically. With a speed setup, both are void.
I think you will have issues reaching the speeds needed to speed tank, and if you do, your own turrets wont track. Yes, you can go with 3 launchers on it - but then have no bonuses to it what so ever, meaning just about any other ship would be better off at it. Stabber perhaps?
You can however speed tank with less speed, by offsetting the opponents tracking, thus 2 tracking disruptors, on the other hand, youd probably be better off staying at 20km and disrupting his range instead, gank up in low, with just say a 2 slot armor tank and beams/heavies for high.
Just my 2 cents, but I really think its not the ship to use if you want to speed tank.

Stick to what its good at, tanking. It may be slow as hell and not great dps but...play to its strenghts. Lure those nasty gallente ships into your range, fit 2 webs and 2 med nos, and just watch as they're completely stuck as your small dps grinds them down and the nos breaks them...you would be surprised

aye 2 nos 4 lasers, tank in the lows is my normal set up,
was just looking at all those lows and thinking t2 nanofibres, I-stabs and natural resists
then i looked at the high slots and thought, stop dreaming

yer good point and i do, decent curse cost me about 200 mill, and i prefer the vaga over the zealot for solo, was wondering if a sac would be the cheaper option. thinking outside the norm is difficult for amarr ships. just wondering if anyones tryed it. i know the zealot holds the fastest ship record (officer mods and snakes), but this is due to only one factor, it has alot of low slots.

What I use on my Zealot:
4x Heavy Pulse Laser II 1x Whatever (Improved Cloak II)
1x 10mn MWD II 1x Warp Disruptor II 1x Cap Recharger II
1x Med Armor Rep II 2x Cap Relay II 2x Overdrive II 2x Heat Sink II
2x Polycarbon Engine Housing
Can permarun the MWD or Repper with the guns and the point. And can cycle the repper while running the mwd.
Orbit 20km -> PewPew, hits just fine with Scorch. With MWD on ofcourse!

heh yeah zealot doing 2000mps :P
nano ships if they are to be viable need 3000mps or faster really ---------

That zealot would be able to do over 6km/s though =)
And its completely impossible to do any such figures as it has to go over 3000km/s to be viable, as its really only the angular that matters, oh and the range of course as longer range turrets have lower tracking.
Oh and if you factor in tracking disruptors it has to go even slower to be viable.
Tell me a ship that in theory does 1.5km/s, with 3-4 tracking disruptors on a BS orbitting at 500m issnt viable? Yes, you do have to choose your targets, and yes, you will have issues with webs, but dont make stupid figures.

If you are nanoing up a turret ship, then you will always have issues tracking.
If you can use Amarr HAC's, then I strongly suggest spending a week or two training up for Curse's, which are far superior for nano setups. --

My Zealot goes 3.3km/s.
And like we have seen in your previous posts you obviously have no clue about nanoships so I would say keep quiet before you embarras yourself anymore.

Curse is rather boring to fly IMO.
I stick to Zealot until my Minmatar alt is unbanned and I can go back to Vaga

i found a cheaper fit swopping the heatsinks for t2 nano fibres and useing the rigs for damage mod, 3k + pg for beams as well although we'll see about tracking and cap, taking it on test run, anyone near querious welcome to a fight :)

Ok the dps on minnie recons does suck but i think it can break a zealot with 1 rep and basic resists somehow.
