This is completely different than what you posted originally.
Please address the exploitability aspect. This is a valid concern as similar items have already caused problems.
Oh wtf I'll just solve your damn problem for you. Here's what you really want.
Training deadspace. 1.0 only. Can't enter if you have any ship damage, to prevent exploit. You enter the deadspace through a gate. Everything happens normally in this deadspace except that when you would normally be popped it immediately warps you out and sets your shield/armor/and cap back to full. It flags you with the 30 second session change flag just to be safe. No ammo is returned to you. This is done to prevent the server from having to store this data. Additionally with this system there is no database bloat from new items that will most of the time sit unused. We already have enough of that.

Works for me. As I said, you could use SiSi, but how many Noobs know of that?
Training gates in a few 1.0 systems wouldnt be bad at all.

They don't need to know. They're noobs. You as the trainer have the responsibility to teach them how to use it. That's how noobs stop being noobs.

think it is a good idea, although you should have a duel option as well, so you can dual one you know and use training "mode" on your ship (just a mode you put on) and in dual concord should not interfear, this would alsow be usefull for normal dual amongsthigh sec players ___________________________________________ Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Pointless
if you thought about what u wrote before u wrote it, youd not feel like an idiot. Shooting at a veldspar roid not only doesnt produce any damage (0.0 Damage), but it doesnt offer the behavior of a player.
I dont really like the idea myself, but you can be a little more intellectual about your reasons for not liking the idea.
In response to the OP, what u can do to see how ur ship setup does...try the test server maybe. But other than that, this would be a poor effort at "testing tanks" and such.
