Just watched the episode.
News update was better than before, and it was good to see a lot of Northern news reported.
Alliance profile was poor. I'm not a big supporter of alliances no one knows/cares about to get airtime.
Playermeet was excellent. It was good to get faces to some very famous names.
Ship profile was ok. I doubt profiling a carrier would appeal to any sizeable amount of the eve base, but it was well done nonetheless.
I see effort is being made to use scripted content less, and I can't say that's a bad thing.
I'm glad to see some improvements in the broadcast, and although it was a tad short on content, the presentation was much better this week and I hope to see more improvements next week :)
Also, I hope MM is profiled in the next episode :p

The Verone interview was certainly the highlight of this episode.
I still think there has to be some sort of timetable so we know when certain parts of the episode start, even if its just here on the forum and not within the show itself. Skipping the parts of the show I am not interested in is rather tedious considering it has to be buffered every time. ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Awsomeness.
Verone TV was just ace. And the American at the meet was just friggin nut's.
Really like the less scripted approach.
Alliance profile was abit weak and the ship profile would have been better if it was a non cap. Although a supercap profile would be quite funky (if comprised by someone who flys one). ------------------------------

As the leader of one of the alliances that nobody cares about, I just wanted to say thanks to the EVEtv crew for the blurb and the 10 seconds of fame.

So it's been 'less on the big guys, more on the little guys!'
so we skip a centred alliance profile this week (got one for next week) and we get cries of 'wtf is this? noobs? NON!'
every time, it hurts me :( _

I haven't liked the player meet interviews - but I liked this weeks a lot.
Archon overview - cool. Less concerned with fitting and more with high level overview. Not to mention that it was just cool.
LOL - Verone interview.
Taglines... whoever comes up with those. I appreciate them all the way through. Not gonna mention the genius ones specifically - you know which ones they were.
Two thumbs up. It just keeps getting better.

Bearing in mind that was the only negative point of my review, you should be happy :P

Just so you know, it's nothing personal. I spent a long time with a small alliance. It's just i've felt that so far larger alliances (except for MC) have been getting precious little air time so far.
Like I said Spiral, definate improvement. Dare I say best yet?

I understand your point, and definitely did not take it personally. My response was more tongue-in-cheek than anything. I was surprised to be contacted for the interview and even more surprised we made the show, tbh.
Looking at this week's report another way -- many moons ago there were only a handful of alliances. Today there's dozens or hundreds. Will that affect how the game is played 6-12mo from now? Definitely. Should EVEtv report about it? Definitely.
Should it have taken priority over some other story this week? Dunno, but that's not my call. I'm just happy to have been part of it.

I was wondering that. It seemed kind of unprofessional (perhaps not the right word) to have just the moving pictures and no sound over it. It just seems like something was missing.
Still, other than that it was a very good show. I enjoyed Verone's drunken ramblings ------------

The data export should defiantly have sound over it...
And just watched it to check and it does have half the voice over missing ><, that would be my fault so everyone stop talking about it and maybe... just maybe xyl won't hit me .

Two random things that I loved about this episode: The 3 section split screen at the beginning of the acharon section. And the Credits at the end put to the awesome EVE in game music by John Hauler! (I hope that's how you spell his name)
Good atmosphere... good content... awesome stuff!
Good luck next week Loxy!!!

Ive just checked this. Its a local codec issue. On my pc, watching the 1000k stream, I get the voiceover (just prior to GndAdmiral Thrawn speaking). On my laptop, at the same point, using the 1000k stream, I dont get any voiceover (just some background *****le). Therefore, as Im watching the same stream, I can only assume its down to local setup. --------------------------------- |

Bizarre, well I'll look into it, at least it means I didn't mess up and export that section without a audio line active.

My feedback for this episode:
Please buy a whip. Please equip said whip to a sufficiently mean looking man (not woman, lest it distracts the guests). Place said mean-looking whip-equipped man between the cameras, so everyone at the table can clearly see him.
Then, advise the people being filmed - specifically the guests - to speak loud and clearly, or else they get to take a walk with the mean-looking whip-equipped man between the cameras after the show.
Seriously though. 5layer and iron maiden mumbled so much that I still didn't understand everything they said by doubling the volume, and spiral fell right in with them after a few words were exchanged. Tsk tsk. Remember the mean-looking man!
