No lag or hardly any lag in Jita?
People that have lag in Jita have bad computers?
Very strange,
I have an AMD64 overclocked to 2800mhz with 2GB of fast high quality DDR RAM A geforce 7900 GT 512MB overclocked to GTX level creative X-fi gamer sound card 2 x Raptor 150GB HD in raid 0
This system gives me a 3DMark05 score of 9039 It is rock solid, never crashes, runs most heavy load 3D games ( like oblivion, LOTRO, ... ) in high settings.
My cable connection is also very stable and quite fast.
I never have problems in EVE online, unless I go to Jita.
So I wonder what the people that never/hardly have any lag in Jita are doing?
Greetings

Originally by: JamesTalon Fly through Jita a lot, rarely have lag, even during high times. If I do get lag, its simple lag, that lasts maybe 10-30 seconds to get into the system and get out.
Specs: AMd Athlon64 3200+ ATI Radeon X700 Pro Vista Home Premium
Really, if you have lag, make sure its not your computer as well causing it. I can also run 2 clients at once, and suffer no lag while doing the exact same things.
Clearly my computer is quite a bit faster, my cable is good, so how come you never have lag in Jita? How come even the Devs admit that Jita has alot of lag ... still you dont?
It would be great if you tell me how to fix my computer so the lag magically disapears

ati and nvidia both optimize there drivers to get the highest score possible with 3dmark, 3dmark is perfectly optimized games never are.
so your score means nothing unless its at attempt at epeen
it is just an indication, but like I said, it runs great on games like oblivion and lord of the rings online with high settings.
And really, from the experience that I have, if the system scores good on 3dmark, they play 3d games well. If a system scores bad on 3Dmark, it runs 3D games bad.
So it is not a perfect measurement, but if system A scores 4000 and system B 9000, then you can be pretty confident that system B performs alot better in about every 3D game.
