Looking at the Pyfa stats, as well as ingame bonuses, I can't see any difference. The cycle time is the same, the bonuses to local tank and RR are the same and the cycle times are the same.
Is it just lossmail bling, or does it serve a genuine function?

Looks like: +1 target +20% targeting range -50 Stront consumption
The extra target is probably worth it to me, though the targeting range is nice too.

It's worth noting that the extra targeting range does almost nothing, since any carrier that can fit a triage module can lock anything within its repair range -- even under the penalties of a class 6 Magnetar wormhole. (At least, I know the Archon can. I haven't checked for the other carriers.)
...so yeah, it's basically +1 target. Pretty lame, really. |

It's still worth having though. I mean, why not ?

It takes a bit more fitting and costs more. The cost doesn't bother me but the fittings could be a real problem.

+1 lock target and half stront use.
T1 triage uses 150 stront/cycle at L4. T2 triage uses 75 stront/cycle at L5. (if you have L5 and are using T1, youre doing it wrong.)
lock range is totally useless since you can't be damped and as mentioned above, can always lock to max rep range.
also, the word on the street is that it's getting buffed with a cap use reduction bonus to RR. |
