Edited by: Andral on 20/07/2007 06:23:48 Hi,
I was wondering, what factors are involved in choosing a corp that you do missions for? I can think of these: * Which mission types it predominantly has * Proximity to your location
Some questions: * Are there other considerations? * Will doing missions for some corps open up options that others won't? * Is there an advantage to having agents in lower-sec? * Do only some corps over jump clones?

Also find out what the corp's LP-Store has to offer. Low-sec agents will give better payments for missions than high-sec. Afaik all corps offer jumpclones.
However, lag really is the biggest factor here. Most faction navy corps good agents are done by alot of people = lag. Try to do some scouting, check maps etc to find out what system fits you.
PS, if you choose a high-sec agent that's near a low-sec system, there's a big chance you get some missions which send you to the low-sec system, keep that in mind :)

Hi there,
Depends a little on how good you already are and where you want to go.If you can fly every mission the agent throws at you anygood agent as far away as possible from any "lagcenter" will do. If you fly only in hisec he naturally shouldnt be close to lowsec. If you cant or dont want to do every mission the agent gives out you should do the following when you choose your corp. Check all corpagents and look if you can find a station or a sytem where there are several hi quality agents available that give out the type of mission you prefer. If you find one check at peaktime ( weekends if you fly on weekends ) how bad the lag is, how the pirate situation is ( if you are in lowsec ) and if you find the sevices available you would need. Of course you have checked the LP-store of the corp to see if it offers goods that are worth your effort and time. At least one offer that gives 1000 ISK for an LP schould be available. Hope that helps.
With best wishes for a sucessfull mission career.

you only need 3 things for jumpclones
1, the skill 2, faction 8.0> with the station corp 3, medi facility on the station.

When using NPC stations for your jump clones, you require a personal and a corporate standing of greater than 8.0 towards the owner of the station. The link below is incorrect as to this detail, at least as of 2.0, but it explains more about jump clones.

PS - As for choosing a corporation to work for, I start with corporations with a good high level agent in the area I want to live in. Then I try to plan out my progression from agent to agent - hoping that I can move from a Level 1 agent up to the Level 4 agent without having to jump around too much. If I can do this, I'll work for that corporation.

You need 8 + personal OR corp standing. A fresh char can join a corp with an 8+ standing and get JCs. --------------------------------------- Providing Caldari State corporation standing services. Premade corps with high standing (when available), or fix your corps standings!

Have you confirmed this recently? At least when I started playing both were required.
