I have been tryting to log on for the last 45 min but I keep getting stuck at the Entering game screen. It just stays on that screen.
I am in Arkansas US

I have the same problem , I got stuck jumping into a system , waited for 15 mins, logged, rebooted... nothing !

I bet the sql servers have something to do with this. I wonder if they need to go ahead and do the upgrades today so that this database lag will finally be fixed.

well it finally let me in but there is some very serious lag issues.

Same problem it hangs on character selection load screen, logged out of game due to extreme lag, now can't get back in.

The solution (at least in my case) was to simply file a petition (Stuck Character).
The GM resolved my issue extremely quickly.

ok i had the same problem on the test server.
it seems there is a desync issue with your character on entering the station.
you ARE in game but as you have no active screen you cannot see that your already in-game.
fix is:
hit [ESC]
go to SHORTCUTS
select in right hand box - EXIT STATION
then hit the [<<] button to move the shortcut to active shortcuts
you should now be faced with a new prompt box asking for what keys to select for this new shortcut
add the key combination u require
once its accepted return to the game
when faced with black screen again - hit your exit station shortcut - you should then exit the station ok.
try docking at another station to see if its working ok now.
if your still having issues then best bet is to check back on forums and maybe post a petition to see if theres a problem with your on-server profile which can only be checked and fixed by the devs.
