Well this was a fun night, 66- didn't load at all for some people great fun where it comes to a point when you need to fight over a system with so many people that there can''t be fought anymore.

CCP should seed an Anti-Lag skill, giving server time priority to anyone with higher skill.
Will solve the problem for a month. Then release the Advanced for rank 3, then rank 5, then 8, then 14
Nobody would complain then - whoever doesnt lag - simply has better skill. incorporate lag ingame officially!

Neat idea. Of course, all other things being equal (which means I'm assuming CCP will add server capacity and optimizations regardless of whether such a skill is deployed), to selectively lessen the lag on some players in real time would mean adding it to other. less skilled players. And if there's one thing an MMORPG needs to make its business model come up aces, it's a system to make the game less accessible to new players.

OMFG, you loaded incredibly well. All I saw was 8 hostiles. I killed one and managed to warp out after taking damage from invisible ships, about 20-30 minutes into the fight (thats how long it took to lock and fire at a target).
Fight was very anticlimactic, almost 700 people insystem, and a handfull of kills on both sides. Without lag I'm pretty sure we woulda beat the snot out of goons+those other dudes.

i was the first one in my gang to load grid, still it took over 10 minuts to lock stuff another 10 to activate mods, and ofc by that time the target was dead/gone so i didnt fire a single shot in the whole battle :/

although can't expect much from an almost-700 ship fleet slugfest... a recent 100x100 op was much more manageable than during the recent desynch era...

We heard about this last night and went 25j for a chance to shoot a bob. Have you considered that the amount of people turning up to try and kill you is perhaps related to how many people bob has made enemies of?
For the record we didn't make it into 66-, it was too laggy and we were asked to stay outside. We went roaming back towards home instead (very slowly till we got out of the lag bubble ).
I'll go the next time again though regardless.

No, YOU'RE missing the point. BoB has been the biggest isolationist of any entity in the history of the game and you have succeeded in baicly turning over half the galaxy onto you with the hope that someone will step up and bring a "fair" fight even though during all this time every action bob has taken seems to be in completely the other direction, favouring instead to try and disappoint and blueball opponents into giving up. Don't even try and debate this as it's a universally recognised mentality prevalent only in BoB.
You chose to ignore an entire facet of EVE, that being the political and propaganda aspect. Now that you have an overwhelming number of fleets arrayed against you you claim that neither are we unable to evolve but the same goes for yourself?
This is absolutely laughable! You never evolved beyond relying almost entirely upon super capitals, Goons on the other hand have almost entirely restructured their command and general strategy, eg. Scrapping the CEOS, Getting rid of FTZ. You are a victim of your leaders own short sightedness, arrogance and inability to think up new strategies to level the playing field.
After all, "Those who fail to evolve become victims of evolution" right? Oh my god, the knee-slapping, laugh-out-loud irony is almost just too much to bear! PFFT! What am i talking about! All this bob tears are making me ******* hard!
