I think the change to NOS is a great idea but I am very concerned about how this affects the Pilgrim and Curse. Has anyone have any experience with them now? The strength of these ships is definitely the NOS and and their DPS is pretty bad even with T2 drones so you had to outlast an enemy by removing their tank and letting the drones chew away, now how will this work? Also, these ships have a hard time running tanking/speed mods even when NOSing so now with this nerf how will they be affected?
Any thoughts?

Could you try to be at least a tiny bit pragmatic? In the case you're fighting something smaller than yourself, you shouldn't have troubles anyways. If you're fighting a battleship, fitting a neut will cause your cap % to lessen faster than the battleship's own cap. This will keep your nos working near 100% efficiency.
If you can't keep your cap alive with 4 nos & 1 neut, you need to put the game back in the box and go back to Hello Kitty Online.

It means you will have to start damage your oponent and tank instead of chipping at defenceless ships... - I'm a nice guy!!

Curse will have reduced 1v1 strength and will be able to keep about equal efficiency in gangs with some micromanaging (2 neuts on a target, 2 nosses on a different one).
Pilgrim will be essentially broken since it relied on its targets cap to tank it, it cannot really sustain ew, scram, neut AND tank. Yes, it can use cap charges, but so can its target. And anything BC sized and above has more room for those than the pilgrim.

I mean, now it will get yr cap down to 0 even faster. Thats what its job.
Well, you will have to drop one damper for injector, but tbh...its not even intended to use damps. ---

I don't fly a Pilgrim. Never have. Don't really plan to start, either. But I'll accept your good judgment if you think it's no longer going to be a wtfsolopwnmobile. Honestly, I can't imagine that being a bad thing. Please bear into consideration that it's a force recon, not combat.

True but I am comparing that to the other force recons. It was already disadvantage to the other force recons as it was the only one that lost its range bonus and now it may lose its main "weapon" too. I haven't tried it out yet, just trying to get people's ideas. And since when it was a "wtfsolopwnmobile"? Considering that you needed to be very close to a target, in a range of just about everything, and with resists 20% less than of a Curse?

I fly pilgrim and have so on sisi too, i can confirm that its has been heavily nerfed. You wont be able to solo anything really above cruiser in this now.
Let me explain for the FIT NEUTS PEOPLE
Lets say we fit 2 neuts and 1 nos, the 2 neuts will kill ur cap pritty fast but heh thats fine we can now use are nos BUT remember you have to tank his dmg which u cant do at 10%cap and 1 nos and the fight is gona last long enough as you just dont have the dps.And his cap wont be killed before yours is.
Why not fit cap boosters you say, no power grid for that
Why not use cap rigs you say, you need them for your tank, take them away and you really are left with an easily breakable tank
Now i have had some awesome fights in the pilgrim lurking around space looking for a sweet 1v1 as thats how i play the game,i do play in groups also but sometimes you just wanna gout out there on your own.I have killed many ships in it but i have also lost them a few times, i really do think they are perfect as they are now
I agree nos did need a nerf BUT on ships that werent speced for it eg. NOS DOMI
Also i cannot comment on the curse as i havent really tried that ship out but it is proabally the same for the curse.
It really is a shame tbh as the pilgrim was such a fun ship to fly and after all isnt this game about having fun?

It stopped being a wtfsolopwnmobile since the ECM changes.
It was actually quite balanced ships since then. The problem is that it has no range bonus, which makes it very bad for gangs, its only real strength was its 1v1 power. With the nos changes it will only really be able to kill cruisers.
Note: my pilgrim is sitting in jita since months. The curse is simply the better ship due to it's much higher effective range which results in it being able to nano and use damps efficiently.

How do you kill anything 1v1 with the Curse anymore? If your target is at a low amount of cap, so are you. At any point your target can shove in a cap charge and MWD away from you, and you don't have enough cap to go after them and still run the warp disruptor.

I had an Ashimmu. I used it a bit and then sold it off. I fit it with full faction everything and T2 ACs. Still didn't do well enough to warrant it's use.

Maybe this is a repost but Clove is right about this. The DPS of the Curse and Pilgrim are garbage, their strength was the combination of med slot EW and NOS. If the NOS is screwed up then the ships loose their main strength. At least change the amount bonus to a NOS rof bonus. I know it would be wierd but leave the Neut one the same and change the NOS one to rof of NOS. At least this way if you miss a Nos opportunity you don't have to wait till the next cycle to try again.

All the recons deal only weak'ish damage. The Curse/Pilgrim had the advantage that it could apply that weak damage to ships that weren't able to run a tank anymore...therefore equalizing their weak damage output. The other recons CANNOT do that.
The NOS nerf brougth the Curse/Pilgrim in line with the other recons, so quit whining! _______________

I disagree. Prior to this change I still preferred the Arazu. If the Pilgrim's nos/neut bonus was changed from amount to range, I'd fly it again.
