Caldari Background story doesn't add up at all...?

O.o i mean they made their ships out of paper and ducktape for crying out loud!. don't you think that a race that should "by the story" be concentreting and the pure effectivity of warmachines and not caring for the kvantity should be a bit stronger in the 1 on 1 aspect of the game?!.. i mean if this was reality, ****** wouldn't even have gotten into Poland in the first place :P (just to take an exsample of how big a advantage the idea of pure kvolity and no mind for kvantity will be...) the reason he got that far was mainly because any warmachine he made was exstremely supirior in technologi, firepower and armour compared to anything else at that time. this is the same description that caldari has, although if it should match to the ingame it should say: caldari, as a race it have an exstremely effective weapon system to keep out unorganised pirates, but their war technologi is not made for conflicts against the other races. :P You do not understand what Germany did in ww2 and it had a lot more to do with blitzkrieg than what Poland had. Your insult to Poland is only because of your ignorance so I will forgive you if you read up on history and what and how many reinforcements Poland had literally a day late because of the superiority of the blitzkrieg.

R0ADKILL	Posted - 2007.08.01 02:09:00 - [38] The main reason for caldari seeming weak is the technological advancements recently made when capsule technology became widely available, keep in mind: The description is pertaining to the race as a whole, not just pod pilots, and we all know that the caldari navy, despite being the smalest in overall size, is preety much all battleships, while other factions have navies of notably smaller denominations. Caldari have had pod tech for quite a while longer than the other races, and so they likely have more navy pod equipped ships than any other faction, and the recent chronicles confirm that a pod equipped **** vs a slew of normal ones IS a mission runner vs mission rats, in short, a single raven, during the ehight of the caldari-gallente war, would easily take on multiple enemy battleships and their support, and be ready to take on some more.

True. Germany early on in the war did not have the best quality technology wise (for example, France had better, heavier tanks and more of them). Back when I first started, Minmatar was supposed to be a "gimp" race, and I like to take inferior equipment and beat you with it, thats why I chose this race. Suddenly it's considered "uber." What changed? I'm not sure. I have a feeling by the time I spec Caldari, it will be considered Uber again so I'm not going to bother. Just train the race you enjoy and stfu.

You could construct a Caldari-only force and it will most likely be more fearsome and any other single race fleet. When it comes to the NPC empires, they all only use their own race's ships, so Caldari are probably still on top Dulce et decorum est pro imperium mori.

Aye, if you take any race, and build a pure fleet using their strengths and "racial" best ships, it would be one heck-of-a-fight for any mix fleet to take 'em down. I think the Raven is one of the best (If not the best) Battleships in the game (But it's still not as cool as a Typhoon ). When I fight against a Drake in my Cyclone it's usually 50-50 as to who comes out on top. In my opinion Eve is not a 1-1 game it's about fleet combat and I think Caldari work very well as a fleet

Rounded == Generalist (and hovering around the 'average' on all scales) - but then again, an 'average' score in everything is sometimes better than a 'uber' score in a narrow range of subjects. OP : PvP aint the only option open to everyone (regardless of how the devs feel about the game in general), and you're not locked into flying Caldari-only ships.
