The player can have 3 characters. These persons are not connected. Why them skills cannot simultaneously train? I consider it incorrect.

I think the idea behind that was that the player can build his character and then when he is satisfied with what he has accomplished he can start another character without having to throw away the old one. It wasn't intended to play more than one char at a time.
If you want to train a char you would want to play it too. Which means you need a separate account anyway.

I had to take several deep breaths or i was 1 click away from being banned.
lets put it simple shall we...
One account, 1 Skill. You dont like it then f#*k off back to WoW please. If you want to train more than 1 char get another account. Why do you want to change the whole game just because you dont like it? I personaly LOVE the skill system! Much better than WoW or those other crappy MMOs (Ps. Did you know that WoW has PvP macros. Yes i didnt typo there >_<)

There are two main reasons for the non-concurrent skill training system:
1) Longevity - The game will stay interesting and challenging for longer if you have to train them one at a time. If you think about it, it's not much different to how most MMORPGs work. You don't level 3 characters at once in WoW or Diablo 2, you play them one at a time.
2) Individuality - The skill system in EVE is like no other. Changing it to some mass produced standard makes it boring.
Money is another reason why the skill system is how it is. CCP are a company and they need to make a profit. They pay their developers good money to maintain the game and create new content. Plus they're based in Iceland, and have you seen the cost of living over there? What I'm saying is that if you really really want to train concurrent skills, you're forced to create multiple accounts. For every active account you have, the more cash CCP get. In a way that's good, because the more cash they get, the more people the can afford to hire, which directly affects the quantity and quality of in-game content. --- http://www.ninjacodingmonkey.co.uk/blog/ Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes -Sahwoolo Etoophie ([email protected]) |
