yarring about in systems I usually dock at some point during aggro timer and drop off the loot I got from my victims wrecks. So that I dont loose what I earned moments later in another fight.
However now Ive got items scatterd all over low sec in several different regions. And I basicly never cash in my earnings. To spend a (few?) hours collecting it all with my alt doesnt feel very exciting.
Hm what do you do with your looted modules? I guess this is another good reason for trying to ransom. Signature removed - please reduce your signature graphic height to less than 120 pixels - Jacques([email protected]) |

yep. this is why ransoms are so schweeet. no messing around. often i'll keep it in my hold if it'll fit, otherwise i'll just put it up for sale at the station i'm in for like 3 months and just forget about them.
tbh most cheap items i leave in the can. just take the tasty stuff out.

If I have no use for it, I put it on the market. However, you can often sell mods back to your victim immediately after the battle.
It's rubbing a little salt into the open wound , but many victims will take the opportunity to get their stuff back right away at a fair price. ---- Some people say I have a bad attitude. Those people are stupid.

i usually dock and drop the stuff imidiately but i am almost always in the same systems so its easy to keep track of. if you have crap everywhere, just contract it. set item exchanges at the approximate value. unless the items are damaged you should be able to contract from anywhere. _____

I usually take everything from the can, except any ammo I can't use with my current ship. If I get full, I'll dock up and refine all the junk and sell there and then, keeping the tasty stuff in my hold.

Edited by: Zeke Novak on 07/08/2007 19:27:32 I use everything I can, then give away excess to corp mates who might need it, and lastly sell or reprocess if I don't foresee it having future utility.
Whether I immediately take it to station or not depends on the value of the loot. Usually I just keep it in my hold until the fighting is over unless I'm full up and need to make room.

I do the same... just stash the good loot in whatever station I dock at next...
As you say, this tends to create a long asset list and theres no fun in gathering it all =(

If I pop a mining barge or mining cruiser I will often offer the surviving strip miners/lasers back the the original owner at a fair price. Surprisingly most of the time that works and I get the money right away...

LOLOLOLOLOL...ok now that i'm done laughing...LOLOLOLOLOL. 200-500k per 10-15 min is not something to be bragging over. I make along the lines of 20 mil per hour without loot, with an average of 1x 40-60 mil faction loot drop per day. and i'm not even like some of the super-rich bastards out there. ______________________

I'm with Jimmyjam on this one. In the words of Bowie: "...keeps all your dead hair for making up underwear." I sell the nice stuff, fit the really really hawt stuff to my own ship and go lose it in some spectacular fight, and reprocess the rest to mold into indecent shapes and go have fun with myself in the closet of my Domi [sic].

Being a bit of a packrat, I take all my loot home with me and store it in my hanger. Even the tech II stuff, which mean I end up with quite a bit of ISK tied up in assets.

I usually collect up all the T1 loot that the gang don't want and share it between the corp hanger and the market. I get a steady income from crap that we don't need and the corp hanger always has cheap stuff in it for suicide frig and cruiser ops.

I reprocess the stuff I cannot use and take my blueprints to build cheap PvP ships and mods with it. Beats mining anytime and makes me completely self-sufficient.

Policing up all your assets is troublesome and repetitive, but don't feel like you have to do it all at once.
When I was centralizing, I tried making it a point to clear out a few constellations in a given region per week. Over the course of a few months, my assets list eventually shrunk, and finally is pretty much as small as its going to get.
Tackle it a little bit at a time. :)
