lets give corp security ratings for piracy and actual anti pirate activities in low sec systems.
if your corp has more than 50 percent -5.0 members then your entire corp is flagged as a pirate. This will allow for real anti pirate corps to operate in low security without becoming outlaws themselves. To keep some fairness only limit this flag to work in 0.4 or less. If you want to catch them in high sec then you will still need a war declaration.
So if the pirate tag becomes to harsh then you will need to work as a corp to get your corps low rating pilots back to above -5. Make this only show the status of whether or not the pilot is a valid target through corp info not info on pilot. Gotta make the anti pirate corp do some actual intel work.
yes i've been on both sides of this in my 4+ years

I've been on both sides, and I'd be ok with this - as long as it only applied to player anti-pirate corps.
The plight of the "anti-pirate" is questionable, at best.

Yeah the whole outlaw/vigilante thing needs looking at. The antipirate and bountyhunter professions are seriously hamstrung by the current security rating system and ironically you end up getting shot at by others of your kind. I think real pirates would love this idea tbh. One thing i noticed was this:
Quote: Viceroys
Viceroyalties are systems in low security Empire space which are administered by a player Viceroy, on behalf of their corporation or alliance. TheyÆll allow you to both turn a better profit and defend your chosen system from pirates, and act as both a way to populate low-sec space and an easier first step on the road to 0.0.
Its in the drawingboard section, depending on how they go about it this could be good too.

Useless suggestion , most pirate corps' average are around -9 (no yellows , alts in alt corp) or above -5 (0.0 and empire piracy , alts in main corp)
Antipirates are still rare enough that they can easily set standings for each other , but are growing in numbers even though there has been no change in game mechanics (just due to the sheer number of outlaws flying around lowsec)

If this happened all we would get is pirate corps with 2 0 sec status alts in the corp, therfor making it a 2:1 +:- ratio.
Wouldnt work

It would remove the alts from the starter corps, which could make for a galactic shift in tactics.
