Ok this might be a silly question but how does a scorp tank 14 T2 large neutron blasters, 15 t2 ogres, ac's and light drones while being nossed and neutralised by a domi for well over 2 minutes amd still only hitting 1/2 sheilds?? All skills almost maxed, both drones and large blaster specs. No rep drones on him.
Am I missing something or is there an uber scorp setup for taking this kind of damage??

If this was a normal scorpion I'd say impossible but you would be surprised how well passive hardeners of the right type work with shield extenders and shield power relays...

will have to time a cap booster very well though if he has a nos/neut domi on him...

Max skilled Neutron Blaster Cannon II with Void L on a Megathron: 136 DPS
136 * 14 = 1904 DPS (50% kin, 50% thm)
15 Ogre II's = 1425 DPS (100% thm)
3329 DPS Total, 71% Thm, 29% Kin
2x XLSB II, 2x Thm Hard II, 1x Kin Hard II, SBA II, 2x Heavy Cap Booster II
4x PDU II
2x Solidifiers, 1x Sa***uard
2224 DPS Tankable for ~3 minutes.
Faction fitting:
2x Gist C-Type XLSB, SBA II, 2x Thm Hard II, 1x Kin Hard II, 2x Hvy Cap Booster II
4x PDU II
3x Solidifiers
2837 tankable ... for as long as he has cap boosters.
I assume you guys weren't *ALL* 100% max skilled.
Edit: With HG Crystal set it peaks at 4321...

Thanks for the input, i just always remembering them as really fragile boats. Suprised the hell out of us is all.

They are weak when used right - but a scorp setup for tanking has a potential better than the raven...
I guess a cap injector or 2 will keep a scorpion alive for 2 minutes, but with a nos/neut domi on him he has to time it pretty well to keep hardeners and stuff running...
