Found 5 Space invaders camping at a gate in Egghelende. All looked like they were BS, saw 1 apoc, could not tell the rest was in a shuttle and it shot away. |

Yeah, you took my scorp while i was chatting with my X-corpmates in local, who are currently your corpmates.
Goes to show there are no "mates" in this game...
You felt so good about yourself you even started posting damage logs in local....nice to be a part of this moral boost of yours  since i heard you need it badly.

Egg is a fairly unsecure system right now and has been for some time. IIRC it leads to Jel, a mini-hub system, and the other way it leads to Ravarin, a dead-end. Traffick is decent there AFAIK.
They should also be able to catch some agent runners. Best option is to avoid or fit a frigate for extreme speed.
P.S Is the traffic better than Balle, because it sucks in Balle. Unless you camp towards Du Annes, but it is still slow

theres an easy way round the egghe blockade, just requires peeps to think abit, i use my route out of jel into egghe all the time and get no trouble, look at the map peeps, they can't camp all the gates at once ;) |

Well, there were space invaders and Zombie Inc there when I was stopped, not sure if they were all at the same gate, the screen was flashing with so many red boxes that it was more then overwhelming for my poor It5, I figured around 20 ship around the gate to block the traffic for those trying to mwd past them.
I actually thought pirates liked fighting more then extortion?
But hey, I've never thought like a pirate so what do I know!

I like money too and if I can get them free of charge it's even better. Noting is a sweet as free stuff.

Yea, I had some guys posting damage logs after the destruction of my ship as well. That sure was annoying. Evidently my attackers needed a moral boost as well cause the smack talk was flowing after they got me 8 vs 1.

I used an agent in Jel for a long time, however, after running into Neamus camping the gate in Egg one night and then seeing Pojo and USObob hope the next couple nights, I could see the writing on the wall. Egg has turned into Little Orvolle.
I changed agents and moved back into more secure space. I rarely go below .5 on missions now.
There WERE some nice people trying to clean Egg out, but I get the impression they didn't have a lot of backup and/or coverage for different time zones.
Personally, it added some spice to mission running. As long as there was a chance anti-pirates would show up and try to clean out the system, I was willing to take my chances running gates. But, after a couple conversations last night, it looks like people aren't interested in risking anything for Egg.

Oh, the damage log wasn't boasting.
I was just amazed that, as Alien8 warped to within 500m of me, my 425mm's with Thorium ammo hit virtually every time.
I was just amazed at the tracking and accuracy considering the optimal was around 62km.
