Edited by: Qutsemnie on 05/02/2004 19:36:35 In EQ ultra high priced items of no value are usually plat transfers to offline afk/folks.
For example If you owe me 10 million isk and im not playing regularly for the next month I might set up a nothing item for 10 million isk witha 3 month sale for 1 and then when you want to pay me you simply go buy it. I have record of you buying it when you get back and im 10 million isk richer. I just tell you when you borrow it where the item you need to buy is and what its name is to pay me back. You write it down.
I dont know if theres a better way of doing that afk transfer in eve though.

I've seen shuttles at a billion, way out in the backwoods. Dunno if it's opportunistic gouging, or they pitch it that high so that nobody except their alt/corpmate is going to bother buying it.

"Highest Paid item - wonder if 2 bil to m0o for protection counts" Nah Rev, he said OVERpriced, wheras that (as you have explained in other threads) is actually quite reasonable.
And Scragg: Its not like you ever risk your BS so how can you complain :P

Don't know about the most overpriced item I've seen but I know what the most underpriced item is atm...
Morphite!
Seen people practically giving it away at less 25K/per since theres not much demand at the moment. But when high-end Tech II items are readily available the going rate will be at least twice that

His name was James Hawkins and he was in Vector Heavy industries at the time (he left eve a while ago though due to studies).
It happened because of a typo by some TTI guy.
(was amusing at the time )

I sell all my shuttles for 10 mil, helps pay for my pathetic n00b attempts at PvP :-) As the other guy said, "great source of income".
Good luck all!
