I don't think you get the standings change by the mission being completed, just by being in gang.
As far as I've seen, the rewards come no matter where you are, as long as the guy who had the mission indicates the acceptance is for the gang.

you only get isk if you are there during the kills, the owner of the mission gets standings increases | decreases that way you cannot have 100 people in a gang all getting standing increases while afk sort of thing -- BIG Lottery, BIG Deal, InEve & RaTTuS Home

You do gain standing with the corp the mission was issued from, but that is the only standing gained. You cannot gain faction standing by sharing missions.

so does any 100% accurate explanation what
"me and my gang (to a maximum of 5 members) have completed the mission."
option actually does?
imagine darth vader: "I find ccps lack of documentation disturbing"
FFS eve is a complex and damn cool game, yet it leaves the impression of a minmatar ship: features are added and removed on the fly every patch, and there is no complete manual to it.
i bet you real money that there is not a single person at ccp that -from a player perspective- knows how every function in the game works.

That certainly wouldn't be unique to CCP, pick any game and no one person on the development side would be able to explain all the inner workings.
I'm still pretty sure that the only thing you share is the bounties on rat kills, isk and LP rewards from the agent. But someone can correct me on the standings point. :)

thats what i tried to say with "from a player perspective"
imho there should be at least ONE person at the producing company that can PLAY the game 100%. doesnt need to be able to explain the inner workings. but deffo needs to know the stuff on the player end.

When the person who accepted the mission reports back to his agent that "me and my gang have completed the mission", everybody in the gang (max 5) gets a cut of the reward and a standing increase. It doesn't matter where the gang members are. The standing increase they get is smaller than the owner of the mission's increase. |
