Hi! I'd like to know if there is a way to estimate the cap recharge on peak. I used quickfit but it hasn't faction items, EFT has them but it seems simply add/subtract capacitor usage. For example a -54 cap/s , +33 c/s will permarun on peak? Thanks!

Divide your max capacitor by the recharge time and then multiply the result by 2.4

I believe the formula is cap divided by regen time multiplied by 2.49 to give you the peak cap/sec. ex, a ship with 1000 cap and a 100 sec regen time is 1000/100=10*2.49=24.9 cap per sec.

Have you tried searching for the faction items in Quickfit? You can't browse to them, but if you search they are there.

EFT uses peak recharge rate (hover your mouse over the cap to see).

I've always used (maxcap/time)*2.5 as peak on all my "permarun" setups (passive shield tank regen, active hardners), and I've never capped out before when going AFK extended periods of time with hardners active, even if the setup was supposed to a tad bit more as I expected to recharge... so the actual value should be slightly higher than *2.5
But granted, if you're active tanking (especially "oversized" tanks, like dual LAR or X-Large booster on BS), you'd better use *2.4 or even less for your peak calculations, least you "alphastrike" your own cap accidentally below optimal recharge rate level and be unable to recover.

large booster alpha strikes cap to much .. he he he
dont bother arguing with me, cause im allways right. Well at least sometimes. |

The +c/s on EFT is at peak levels.
