I am out of comm reach of Gaius atm so am now intrigued which ship he lost and whether Devil Maelstrom (Oracle) lost his too.
On the surface it seems a dastardly thing to do for Concorde to turn up and gank the loyal Amarrian when it was the Minmatar he was fighting who locked and fired on the gate 
Obviously Concorde have decide on a shot on sight policy for everyone engaged in Empire wars 
Should be an interesting story when I eventually speak to Gaius

Probably depends on who shot at what/who first. Sometimes the CCP react if a protecting ship fires on an aggresive ship thats shooting at another target.

I am flat broke and still in debt ;)
As for what happened, well it was a most dastardly thing, typical of the malfunctioning and miskept equipment in tribal space!
Devil Maelstrom was sitting on the Pator gate, in Teonsude system, when I come along in my merry ship. Overeager, the terrorist locks the gate (and my fine vessel) unloading on state property instead of my golden ship!
Coming in close, he wizzes around at about 500m, sending missiles around madly, shooting the gate and causing general havoc like only a rabid minmatar heathen can. So the sentries fry him, and next thing I know, they turn on me!
So there we were left sitting, Devil and me, in each our pod.
Typical of the greedy terrorist dogs, Devil actually tried to loot the remnants of my container when in his pod!
I left him to it, and went home to wash my mouth.

I triggered no offensive modules, but some missiles, launched by Devil prior to his destruction, did impact on my vessel. At the time I was close to a CONCORD billboard.
I must put the erraneous (traitorous?) destruction of my ship down to malfunctioning equipment or downright incompetence on the behalf of CONCORD!

I am certain that the members of PIE, being the faithful servants of God they are, can agree with me when I say this. If God wished that Gaius' ship survived, it would been have so. What mortal man can be so arrogant to think he may understand the designs of the Lord. All we can do is trust that what happened, when it happened, is part of Gods grand design. For all we know, the malfunction of the sentry guns and subsequent destruction of Brother Gaius' ship saved him from an ambush elsewhere in which he would have been podded. All we can do is trust in the Lord and submit to his Divine Will.
All praise be to the Everlasting Father, and victory to the messengers of his Word! |

Never would I had thought that such pious words would be uttered by a moneyhugging caldari, could it be that our message is finally reaching the ears and minds of the weaker races?
I am shure that Hardin in particular has been converting many gallenteans with his personal "hands on approach" as he puts it. Pitty that some Amarr are chosing the way of heresy, maybe the inquisitors should go out and cleanse the universe once more...
It is still sad to see that a mighty amarr ships fall victim to the bad programming of concord and minmatar defence systems. Rest assured that such things would never happen if an Amarr was responisble for its upkeep!
And we do not pod Oracle and they do not pod us, it is a gentlemens agreement between worthy foes.

I was an 'Adopted' worker... oh i remember my 'adoption' it included the killing of my father, the Sexual Assault and cold blooded murder of my mother, and me being forced into a 6 foot box cell for the long journey to some hell hole (i belive it was called Amarr)
Does that sound holy and pious to you? Maybe you would like to be an 'adopted' worker for a while, if you think its that pleasent

I see how you devious Minmatar like to put your own angle on things. I am sure what really happened was this; Your father was a Godless heathen who was corrupting you so they killed him to safe gaurd your souls chance at salvation. Your ***** of Babylon mother drugged one of the gaurds and did her business with him while he was in a delerium, and was swiftly executed for her immoral crime. And to build your character and give you time to ponder your role as God wishes it in the universe you were put in the thinking box.

once you can bring definative (scientific) proof that there is a god and your path is true, then i may belive you. But i will pose you a couple of questions.
Was it (the alleged) God's will that you lost caldari prime? If so, to what purpose?
Would a god promote the suffering of an entire race, and if he did, then why did he (allegedly) create us in the first place?
It is just plain arrogance to try to force your beliefs on others without sufficiant evidance

I am no scientist. But since you seem to be a man of logic, please explain the following to me, and if you do, I will recant my faith.
The universe is made up of matter. How was that matter created? What was it created from? Matter could not be created from nothing... there had to have been something or someone to create everything. so explain to me what made the universe from what? nothing? there must be a creator. It would be illogical to think otherwise.

I wouldnt be so arrogant to try and figure out the will of a being who knows all, from the beginning, to the end...in comparison I am nothing, that knows nothing, about nothing. I am sure I used a double negative, but you know what I mean. Everything works out in the end, it always does. Salvation of souls is the important thing, not posession of a world.

God gives everyone the freedom of choice. So what the Amarrans choose to do, how they choose to interpret their religion or express their culture is their choice. And again, I am not so arrogant to think I could reason why God created the Minmatar.

I do not force anything. It often seems to others who listen to someone that is so faithful, so sure, of their belief that they speak of it as fact...to interpret them as being a close minded arrogant individual.
