I'd like to see a system where the higher your sec status, the more people you can attack without penalty.
In Low-Sec= Does not recieve a sec hit if these conditions are met. You=2, can attack anyone at -4 or below You=4, can attack anyone at -3 or below You=6, can attack anyone at -2 or below You=8, can attack anyone at -1 or below You=10, can attack anyone below 0. (I know 10 is impossible. Its listed for comparison) The formula is -5+(.5*your sec status).
High Sec= No sec hit and no concord if these conditions are met. You=2, can attack anyone at -4.5 or below You=4, can attack anyone at -4 or below You=6, can attack anyone at -3.5 or below You=8, can attack anyone at -3 or below You=10, can attack anyone at -2.5 or below. (I know 10 is impossible. Its listed for comparison) The formula is -5+(.25*your sec status).
This way, there is an actual benefit to high sec, anti-pirates could have some mechanism, and some carebears might be tempted to try pvp. Also, if someone has a low enough sec-status, perhaps killing them gives you a sec gain?.

Not so sure that I'm crazy about that idea. A quick trip to 0.0 for some ratting brings up sec status pretty quick. High sec status shouldn't be free rights to kill anyone who's done bad things in the past. If someone managed to get to 10, then some newb who got CONCORDED due to an accident is now fair game in low-sec. Now if sec status were to grant discounts at a CONCORD station or faster/better responses if attacked, that would be fun. Hmmm...sec status interchangable with standings at Concord facilities? _______________________________

I think 'justice' has been taken out of the game by making low sec fights hostile to all parties sec status.
If you have a -ve sec status tough. You have done bad things and justice should therefore be given!
Low sec:- I think if you have +ve sec status and and attack anyone with a -ve sec status you should a) not be given a sec status hit and )b not be hit by gate guns. this will help promote anti-pirate squads and bouny hunters alike. However if you have +ve sec status and attack someone with +ve sec status then you get a sec hit like anybody else. All this is in low sec ofc.
High sec should just be left alone.
There should also be a FULL bounty list of all chars with a bounty no matter if they have 5 or 5 billion isk bounty. Open up another aspect of the game which could be really good fun. ----------------------

Yeah, but it doesn't seem right for a .01 player to get free shots at a -.01 player. Thats why I picked my system.

Interesting idea...
Maybe you should simplify it though. That's a bit difficult to remember. Also people below -4.5 can't enter high sec (aka are Shot on Sight) so your "high sec" scale is useless until you reach the 4/-4 mark. btw: Is that system linear or discreet? ---------------------------------------------- The glass is neither half full nor half empty.
