Edited by: Bad Leroy on 13/09/2007 09:47:59 Lp store, bunch of crap stuff?
I have over 5million LPs with Minmatar agents and to be honest all I see is crap offers. I canÆt buy the tags needed (none fore sale and buy orders not filling) to exchange for what seems to be for the most part mediocre faction items.
I could buy implants and flood the market even more than it is. I could buy ammo and sell it.
Just donÆt know what would return the best isk/loyalty point. Has anyone got info on the best faction mods to buy?
The Minmatar warp disrupter looks like a nice bit of kit but IÆm not sure what else is worth trying to get tags for *doesnÆt look forward to running lvl 3s again*
I also have over 1million points with Gallente agents, just a freaking nightmare this is.
I was happy with the old system, cashing loyalty points in when they got to 15000.
Has anyone worked out the best stuff to use loyalty points for?
Help me please ààààààààààà..

Get BPs and build faction ships/mods. Should return some nice ISK and I think you can get some BPs without the need of tags

Edited by: Leandro Salazar on 13/09/2007 09:51:13 I have a few decent uses for my LP, but I am afraid sharing them would cutting into my own limited business, so you will have to find the decent items yourself. Suffice to say, cashing in huge amounts of LP is very unprofitable in the first place and always has been. Should have cashed them in as you got them really. And the poster above me has probably not looked at the price of faction ships in recent times. Especially the Fleet Tempest does not earn you anything decent since it is such a comparably crappy ship.

The various connection skillbooks (2 different ones per corp), are a pretty good use of your lp. Faction ammo, (EMP L)will also bring home a hefty profit. Federate issue antimatter is also a very good idea for the gallente ones. ----

I agree with you that navy battleships have a horrible LP : Isk ratio, but there are lots of other faction ships out there. For 30k LP, you can make about 190M off one of the crappier faction frigates, and that is selling at the low end of the price range (if you're patient with the contract system and sell at the high end, maybe get 250-290M profit). That's a very good ratio of LP : Isk in my book.

For that amount of LP you might consider nexsus chips if it's in corp offering them. Their profit margins are not stellar, but at least it's quarnteed 1000 isk/LP profit margin.
For better profit margins you might want to take a look at hardwires market, but it's not that stellar either. Especially if you don't want to wait forever for them to sell.
Faction ammo is also option, but that market is also somewhat limited and if you are after decent isk/LP then you are in for relatively long wait for it all to sell.

There are no real offers with good lp/isk ratios which give you fast sales and isk.
As was mentioned, faction ammo will give you good isk : lp. but it will take quite a while to sell it. Another option are non-attribute implants. Everyone and their alts are selling attribute implants, but there are quite a few non-attribute ones which are in low supply and can be sold for good ratios. You have to do some research what is best there though and its again no quick lp -> isk conversion.
From faction mods the overdrives sell for quite a lot considering their shop price, but you need to get the tags for those.

with 5m Skill point you can waste 1 million on researching what brings most profit:
use 1M to get a sample from all stuff you can get your hands on with out tags. Then sell the stuff, evaluate what has the best profit ratio, then use the rest of the LP to get the best items for sale.
(Do not flood the market with those items, though. You might cut your own throat with price decay. Just put enough on the market so your orders stay at a good price and the supply is bought up in the time you need to check your orders again.)
Implants would be a no brainer, high demand and a reasonable price, no huge transport issues to spread the lot over diffrent regions, even thru lowsec gate camps.
Faction ammo and missles might be a good start right at the agents station, if it is a mission hub.
You could make a huge profit, if you invest time and patience in buying slowly and cost efficent the tags you need to get Faction ships or BPCs. You have waited quite some time to cash in your LP, so be patient a bit longer and cash in the LP a bit later for lot more. If you buy the tags directly at stations, that have busy level 3 or level 4 combat agents, you should have the tags relativly cheap in no time. --

Most of the Min/Gal Navy items aren't worth their LP store price. Minmatar warp disruptors are certianly not worth it. Here's the breakdown, using average market price from Heimtar.
Amarr Major Insig I = 407,580 ea Amarr Colonel Insig I = 100,765 ea
Republic Fleet Warp Distruptor requires: (407,580ISK*435)+(100,765ISK*70)+36,000,000ISK = 220,350,850 ISK
In addition to the 220 mil in hard resources, you'll have to spend 90k LP which is worth roughly another 90 mil.
So, a Republic Fleet Disruptor requires 310 mil ISK of resources to create. But in order to sell it you're going to have to compete with Domination disruptors, which go for ~200 mil (being generous). Thus, every time someone buys a Republic Fleet Disruptor they lose 110 million ISK.
Overdrives are different from most other LP store offers, they are profitable. Overdrive Tag/ISK requirements: (407,000ISK*87)+(100,765ISK*14)+6,400,000ISK = 43,219,710 ISK
So it takes about 43 Mil in resources and 16k LP to produce one of these, and if you want it to sell fast you can get rid of it for 80m (on the low-ish end), leaving you with an ISK:LP ratio of 2298:1.

I would highly suggest nexus chips and the republic fleet firetail blueprint copies. I'm not sure how consistently firetails sell, but for 50k lp plus a few tags(really a few) or 30k plus 10m isk you get a decent return. Its not extraordinary, but they are regularly for sale in contracts for 25-35 mil isk. For each ship you make you get back at least 10 million if you went for the 30k copy and you don't have to worry about trying to sell off thousands of smaller items.

Too bad it's not 6 mil LP with a Caldari corp, CN-Scourge sell like hot butter even for 2500 ISK a piece (that's 3k ISK per LP, so you'd stand to gain almost 18 bil ISK slowly, or at least 12 bil ISK fast). _

I've said it before -- the Minnie navy loyalty rewards are among the worst out there.
My recommendation is not to cash out at 300-500 isk/lp but hang out and wait instead. Maybe the stores will get fixed a little and you'll get some use out of your LP.
Now you see why so many mission runners (including myself) have relocated to Caldari agents. At least there's a good market for their stuff (launchers, bcus, shield hardeners, missiles, CNRs, etc).

Keep the LP for a few months, until Rev 3. The dev blog indicated there would be a lot of changes to the LP Store coming.

I run for caldari and don't know if this is even an equivelent option for you. I have looked as sell prices and tend to find modules look the most inviting due to ship BPs having low quanties and modules sell for less and you get more of them to make, have not doen the math on the build side but i can tell you that caldari navy cruse missile launchers at the volume that you get them (belive it is 5000 for a purchase) blow away the profit for Raven navy issue.

I work scourge out at 2k/lp not 3.

I work scourge out at 2k/lp not 3.
5000 units of T1 Scourge + 3 mil ISK + 3k LP = 5000 CN-Scourge. That's around 40 ISK (the T1 Scourge) + 600 ISK (cash) + 0.6 LP per unit of CN-Scourge. At 2500 ISK sales price - 40 - 600, that's 1860 ISK for 0.6 LP, or in other words 3100 ISK per 1 LP. Even at 2000 ISK sales price - 40 - 600, that's still 1360 ISK for 0.6 LP, or 2266.6 ISK per 1 LP.
If you work them out at 2k/LP, you must be selling them at around 1840 ISK per unit, which is damn low if you ask me. _

if your looking to make some isks off of your lp accumulation, you could put together implant sets +4's or +5's, do a set at a time and contract them or put up on forums,l as they sell profit, also advertise to convert ammo for people, they provide ammo stack and isks and chage them a reasonable rate for lps spent, it can be a suprissingly good way to make isk and friends
