Taking someone's ship that left it behind, lol. Classic. Ransoming that ship back to them with all mods intact, pure professionalism. Making that person come to the forums and post some crap like this as a condition to get that ship back? Complete noobishness, sounds like something a bunch of little high school kids would think up.

we can always make them sing in local but then you don't get to hear it :(
IMO offering alternative forms of payment is part of what sets veto apart from the rest of eve. We accept ransom in any and all forms, ISK talks fastest but don't hesitate to offer other goods and services, we just want to make a buck.

Going remotely off-topic;
My personal favourite ransom style is performed by the ubar of Rubyor - RF and his haiku alliance ransoms™.
In the days gone by, if an alliance got too big for its boots to quickly, the mighty light of Rubyor would shine into their darkest *****s. With the alliance submitting, RF would throw them a light ransom of stuffs to warm them up to surrendering. Then he'd throw a curve ball of posting the surrender on CAOD... plus Haiku.
The fallen learnt their ways and fast learned how to do haiku's. It was a win-win situation for all concerned.

Find a CNR in a mission, make him order you a pizza from the internet, keep him locked down for 45 minutes while you wait for the guy to show up. I imagine this would work best if you had a large enough gang that they could not get backup, as they would have ample time to get a gang together to beat you.
